Alcohol (article by dr. michael ryce)
🌍🌍🌍 ALCOHOL SHOCKS ALIENS! Part 1 —
How has the normalization of such a shockingly catastrophic assault on humanity become our collective norm?
IMAGINE you arrived last night (December 31, 2024) from the Moon and are exposed for the first time to . . . HUMANS!
Curious, you observe, being New Year’s Eve, that many have a special cabinet in their homes where they store a “celebration” fluid reserved for use on “special” occasions when their most cherished friends and family come to visit, and they really want everyone to “enjoy” themselves and have “fun” together! You are told it is a social lubricant which produces euphoria and decreases anxiety. “Wow,” you think, “That sounds pretty good!”
As you watch the “good times roll” you observe these friends and family members get drowsy, stumble, sometimes uncontrollably and begin to slur their speech. You are surprised when you observe several of these good-time party goers do not seem to be having such a good time and actually get a little snarly with each other. Or a lot snarly! Confused by the conflict between what you have been told, and what you are observing, you listen to voices which get louder and louder as the “party” goes on. Conflicts that were not apparent earlier, arise and escalate to fisticuffs. Hmm, you think, “euphoria and decreased anxiety?” – looks like suffering – anger, rage, abuse, isolation, and disappointment to me!
These people, who gathered for “a good time together,” eventually kind of stumble around, as though in a stupor, some of them go into blackouts and end up in a coma, and one teenage “party-goer” dies and you later learn it was of alcohol poisoning.
You find it odd that this species, in order to have “fun” with cherished friends, each time they get together, have actually come to believe, having been skillfully brainwashed by the purveyors profiting from the sale of this literally poisonous, deadly fluid, that offering this “refreshment???” to their closest friends and family is a fine way to honor them! They actually think it is reasonable to do extreme damage their brains and bodies from this toxin in order to have “fun!”
By now you have probably figured out that I am not really from the moon, but someone who was brought up with little knowledge of what alcohol is actually doing to the bodies and the minds of its users, to the children, families and cultures of those who use alcohol! I bought the lie — that alcohol was “OK!” From direct observation I learned what a disaster alcohol was to families, marriages and children’s lives.
Profiteering manufacturers, who had spent decades honing the skill of making it sound like there was a good and constructive use for this substance, had me conned. They have conned the world! The ban on alcohol during the 1930’s Depression did not end, as popularly believed, because the public wanted alcohol, but producers and their greedy publicity agents convinced people, and the government, that liquor production would create jobs and that alcohol taxes might help to reduce income taxes!
Despite the horrific damage done to society as a whole, families and the economy in general and children in particular by the uncontrollable, overwhelming and irresistible desire to consume alcohol at the inevitable effect of overuse — delirium tremens — which effects may include shaking, shivering, irregular heart rate, sweating, hallucinations, very high body temperature, seizures (colloquially known as “rum fits”) which may result in death… the billion-dollar alcohol industry, void of conscience, use their profits to brainwash the gullible! They bought influence in movies, media, medicine and the military! They skillfully linked the image of a “real man” and a “real woman” woman to alcohol consumption — a tragic lie! They portrayed “beautiful people” as benefiting, having real “fun” and being sophisticated through the use of alcohol! And rather dull without it!
I finally realized how far reaching the money and influence was of this trillion dollar blight on the world.

Working with individuals and families over the last half century, I often get to see the enormous damage done by the use of alcohol. Some will try to tell you the damage is only from the abuse of alcohol but that simply is not true. I offer there is no safe level of use for a proven poison that seeps into the bodies, minds, families, and communities where alcohol is present. I dare you to read the rest of this article, look me in the eye, and tell me that alcohol is anything less than a catastrophe!
How many decisions, what are the consequences of insane drunks going to war and committing atrocities over the centuries? How much insanity and suffering has been caused by military and political drunks, who we know are more prone to violence because of alcohol… https://www.ranker.com/list/how-alcohol-changed-history/danielle-ownbey

How many employers and community members believe it is their “right” to visit their alcohol induced insanity on family and “friends” and have been convinced it as a “just a normal part of life.” In short, we have been brainwashed.
How has the normalization of such a shockingly catastrophic assault on humanity become our collective norm? If you have watched the damage done, as I have, in your life, or those around you, I suggest you take action! Boycott alcohol and the purveyors of this killer. Loud and clear! And let the people your boycott touches, and your friends and acquaintances know what it is you are doing. Having been taught alcohol has some “good” in it, and ignorant of the process, understanding the progression of the did-ease of alcoholism, and its symptoms, can lead to easy abstinence:
Stages of Alcoholism
There are three stages of alcoholism:
There will be differences to signs and symptoms experienced. Below are examples of the common signs and symptoms for each stage.
First Stage: Early Stage
Drinking to cope with uncomfortable emotions and thoughts
Developing a tolerance to alcohol
Still able to function at work
Able to maintain family and social relationships reasonably well
Denial that their drinking behaviors have a negative impact on their life
Second Stage: Middle Stage
Beginning to lose control of drinking behaviors
Beginning to drink earlier and/or for longer periods of time
Drinking is not fun anymore
Having cravings for alcohol
Beginning to have alcohol related health problems
Beginning to struggle at work
Beginning to have conflict with family and social relationships
Third Stage: Final Stage
Have multiple health concerns resulting from drinking
Relationships are significantly damaged, possibly irreconcilable
Drinking becomes a sole focus of life
Beginning to ignore basic needs (Food, shelter and water)
If they continue drinking, it will kill them.

If you have never looked into the facts, stats and actual impact of alcohol, here is a synopsis. The log is nauseatingly long:
Alcohol is a Central Nervous System depressant and the third-leading cause of preventable deaths in the United States. An estimated 237 million men and 46 million women suffer from alcohol-use disorders globally!
The purposely induced epidemic of alcohol use results in police arresting over 1.5 million people in America annually. It is involved in more than 25% of all traffic-related deaths – 30 per day! And millions of injuries per year in the United States alone. Over 10,000 Americans a year are killed by drunk drivers, about 1,000 of them being children! 1,825 college students per year die of alcohol related causes.
In 2010, underage drinking resulted in approximately 189,000 emergency room visits due to injury and drunk driving is the number one cause of death among teenagers with 25% of motorcyclists killed in wrecks had a BAC of 0.08% or more!
Among acquaintances, 744,00 incidents of alcohol-related violence occur annually. Over 118,000 incidents of family violence (excluding spousal) include alcohol annually. Almost 500,000 alcohol-related incidents of violence occur between intimate partners every year.
Rape, murder, assault, and child and spousal abuse are all closely linked to excessive drinking. More than 3 million alcohol-related incidents of criminal violence occur annually in the US. HALF of all murders and assaults involve drinking.
The suicide rate increased 33 percent from 1999 through 2017 and have increased more sharply since 2006.
How much of a factor do you suppose alcohol is in the skyrocketing rates of suicide among the general population and, especially, in military families where it is suspected real suicide rates remain vastly underreported? Aside from being a long-term factor in suicide, alcohol use often a part of what sets the scene for of the act of ending one’s own life and a part of act itself. Tragedy!
We know that alcohol exacerbates depression, sleeplessness, anxiety, and other symptoms of PTSD which include things like severe bouts of the mental anguish, hopelessness, frightening panic attacks, and paralyzing migraines. Much of the legendary sexual harassment and rape in the military is linked to alcohol.
What is it about military involvement that creates such tragic outcomes? Military suicides are not just a wartime problem. Individuals who served in peacetime between major conflicts made up 21 percent of the national veterans’ population but ONE-THIRD of all deaths by suicide in 2015.
Sadly, fourteen of the twenty vets who die each day aren’t even enrolled at the VA. And the increase in suicide rates for veterans outside the VA healthcare system has grown almost five times faster than those getting care at VA. Much as it is criticized, often for political grandstanding, tell your veteran friends that the VA saves and improves lives! Veterans Crisis Line at 1-800-273-8255 (call NOW and press 1 to talk to someone who cares!)
The CNS is a system of nerves that controls blood flow, feelings, digestion, elimination, speech, heart and liver function, breathing, reproduction, movement, sleep cycles, comprehension, behavior, and intelligence.
As a result of interference in the functioning of the CNS, alcohol assaults and damages every system of the body and the mind. The first signs of that assault are the destruction of the ability to think clearly and speak intelligently. Chronic alcohol exposure causes more direct effects on the brain which results in multiple major life and psychosocial problems. It causes blood cells to coagulate, hence reduces blood flow to the brain so that, under its influence, a person becomes confused and begins to go into a state of progressive degeneration. Why do you suppose casinos serve free alcohol?
Damage increases exponentially with alcohol’s use. “Normal” effects include an increase in injuries, conflict and health; internal problems including liver and heart disease, sleep disorders, depression, stroke, bleeding from the stomach, several types of cancers and an increase in the risk of birth defects. The liver, in an attempt to detoxify alcohol’s poisons, begins a process of necrosis, the death of tissue called cirrhosis.
Externally, due to behavior anomalies induced by alcohol, there is an increased risk of sexually transmitted diseases, there are increasing rates of violence, accidents, vandalism, and unprotected sex.
🌍🌍🌍 ALCOHOL SHOCKS ALIENS! Part 3 —
In the US alcohol is the fourth leading cause of preventable death, with 88,000 people dying each year, 10,000 of them being auto related. Globally three million-three hundred thousand people die of alcohol related causes each year and it is the fifth leading risk factor for premature death and disability among people between the ages of 15 and 49!
Let’s shift perspectives again and, look in on this phenomenon from the perspective of our Alien observer… Shockingly, you find out that alcohol use it is the number one killer in the age group 20–39 years where approximately 25 percent of the total deaths are alcohol attributable and it is linked to 40% of violent crimes!
You are deeply disturbed and wonder, “What is going on with this species?” when you discover that the adults, and political systems of the world, insanely, actively support the brainwashing if its own young into believing that using this substance is normal.
Then you are doubly appalled to find that another substance, with competing brain destroying properties, THC, is being maneuvered into becoming as acceptable as alcohol. All for the desire to avoid dealing with self-generated painful feelings — FEELIN’ NO PAIN?? ?? — and for the love of little green strips of paper called money. Shock turns to revulsion as you look into alcohol’s effects and learn that in 2014 (latest statistics available) the NIH estimated that 16.3 million adults ages 18 and older, and 679,000 adolescents ages 12–17 had an Alcohol Use Disorder and that alcohol contributes to over 200 diseases and injury-related health conditions, most notably alcohol dependence, liver cirrhosis, cancers, injuries and bears a direct relationship to parasites and cancer.
The economic cost of alcohol is approximately $249 billion annually. That cost includes 4.6 MILLION emergency room visits per year, and, as a cause of death is 2nd only to those caused by ANOTHER popular deadly substance these humans sell to each other for green strips of paper, tobacco. Popular with succeeding generations because the preceding generation chose to remain ignorant or simply lied to their young!
As an alien observer you are somewhat appalled when you learn that college kids are particularly vulnerable as they mimic their parents, or the culture’s advertised way of having, “fun!” alcohol, you discover, is involved in 50% of date rapes and an equal number of violent crimes in America. In the US it is estimated that alcohol is involved in 10,000,000 rapes!
These strange earth creatures fight quite violently for the “right” to continue to use this deadly substance if it is taken away.
You look deeper into this aberrant, self-destructive custom of consuming alcohol and you learn that the brain’s inhibitory function is compromised by this substance leading users into poor decision-making abilities and a myriad of physical diseases such as liver failure, an horrific disease called cancer and a tendency toward violence and destruction of self and others. It seems bizarre to you that those possessed by violence when they use alcohol are especially drawn to take their abhorrent behavior out on those close enough to be called “family!” As you investigate you find that children and “spouses,” the people alcohol users are supposedly closest to, are the usual object of the violence brought out by alcohol consumption. Alcohol induced trauma you discover, is passed, like a cherished family tradition, from generation to generation.
You find the brain dysfunction produced by alcohol especially interesting. You learn that in this human species the inhibitory system of the brain prevents one from acting out stored behaviors repulsive to that individual. You learn that after consumption a few ounces of alcohol the blood flow to the brain of the individual becomes so compromised that the inhibitory function fails and any behavior, no matter how ancient, or suppressed it is, in an hostile instant, takes over. People so influenced replay past decisions and find themselves unable to function or reject behaviors that would be disgusting to them when sober and that the brain so affected projects the suppressed behaviors into its brain’s perceptual constructs of others, even when sober. Hence, perceptions of self and others is a monster problem in lives of people who drink.
Alcohol suppresses activity in the amygdala. The amygdala is the area of the brain responsible for perceiving social cues, such as facial expressions. Also appears to be important in rational decision making including social disinhibition, aggression and social withdrawal.
As an aside, you discover that fructose, sugar and fruit juice is producing some of the same damaging effects of the livers of massive numbers of children. Our alien friend was shocked… You will be too! Fructose/Uric Acid degenerative liver disease connection… https://youtu.be/JTxkAK82e0I
Important insight… from https://m.facebook.com/2getherrecover/posts/2999146317082721 Thank You!

Did you know that addiction is classified in the DSM-5? It’s a mental illness that lives in the brain stem: the same brain stem that serves a critical role in regulating certain involuntary actions of the body, including heartbeat and breathing. Addicts feel that they need their drug of choice (DOC) the same way they feel they need to breathe.
Did you know that our society treats addiction as a moral issue and pawns it off on law enforcement to “control”? The average stay in jail being 365 days or less. Where addicts are left to detox alone?
Did you know the detox process can be violent and result in death if not monitored by medical professionals?
Did you know the addict is many times released, and at that time, their serotonin levels are at their lowest, leading to a high crime rate and a higher chance in relapse. Criminal.
Pot is being skillfully positioned to take the place of alcohol for those who are waking up from alcohol.
And the “family values” candidate is one of its biggest promoters…
https://www.nytimes.com/2019/06/03/us/politics/john-boehner-marijuana-cannabis.html
It takes an average of 14-16 months of sobriety for an addict’s brain to balance serotonin levels to that of a neuro-typical brain. Did you know that?
Did you know that most insurances will only pay for 30 days of treatment for an addict?
Please get active about that. I’m begging you … DO SOMETHING! Print this and give copies to every purveyor of alcohol who participates in this criminal enterprise!
Did you know that 136 people die every day from opioid overdose, not to mention from alcohol? That’s one person every 10.58 minutes. By the time you’re done reading and processing this post, someone will have died from an opioid overdose.
— Someone’s child.
— Someone’s spouse.
— Someone’s parent.
— Someone’s brother/sister.
— Someone’s friend.
— Someone’s aunt/uncle.
— A Fellow Human Being
Let that sink in.
Did you know that the two biggest factors that “make” an addict are (1) Genetic Predisposition and (2) Childhood trauma. There’s not that “one hit” or that “one decision” that will make an addict. You never really know who is or is not an addict before they ever even pick up. It’s NOT a moral problem. I repeat, addiction is NOT A MORAL PROBLEM. It is a simple reflection of unresolved generational childhood trauma.
Just for a minute let’s take this in a little bit of a different direction. Did you know that the BRCA gene for breast cancer has a 5-10% genetic predisposition rate? People undergo testing and life changing surgeries to avoid it, but addiction’s genetic predisposition rate is over 50%.
O V E R 5 0 %. Let that sink in.
You still think addiction is a moral problem? A parenting problem? Too bad there isn’t a surgery to remove addiction huh?
If there’s one thing an addict would say…. it’s that they’re still in there – the person that you knew and loved is still in there.
They are not their disease. THEY ARE NOT THEIR DISEASE.
Addiction IS a disease. Much like diabetes, it has to be actively managed every day, for the rest of their lives. And it’s HARD. It takes support and unrelenting diligence. It’s like cancer in that it can always reoccur.
The blaming needs to stop.
We need to do better.
The paradigm needs to change. Insurance benefits needs to change.
Public awareness needs to change.
Please help.
The next time you hear someone say “they have a choice” or you hear others refer to an addict as “a junkie” start by educating them – because that is how this works.
YOU can make a difference. You can change things. It starts with educating yourself and then spreading that knowledge, one person at a time. Please, I beg you, join me in this.
Copied and pasted. Please do the same…
Be a part of the change! ????
