Interviewing Sandy Wilder about educare unlearning – means to draw out – https://educareunlearning.com/sandy-wilder/

Discussion of ‘enneagram’ pre-interview conversation – personality typing. Perhaps interview Richard Rohr. ‘On Your Mind” podcast.

Caller Susan practice of the ‘Gentle Art of Blessing’ allows her to be more at peace. She spoke of being ‘open’ in a restaurant singing happy birthday and feeling like everyone there was family. Like “When I walk into the room, I know that everyone loves me. I just don’t expect them to realize it yet.” Byron Katie

Caller Celinda, agreed with the suggestion of an interview with Father Richard Rohr, he is a mystic type renegade from Catholic church.

Jeanie continued to read from “The Untethered Soul” by Michael Singer, Chapter 4 ‘The Lucid Self’ – example of sitting in a movie and all of your senses and emotions and feelings get involved and you become lost in the experience instead of staying conscious and aware.

michael spoke of the PCE that shows where there are ‘holes’ in our minds. Many have a challenge in Maintaining Honor for Truth. Most are in Blockage of Truth. Choose to bring the mind back into alignment. I have given it a goal to fulfill and it looks for someone to blame instead of being responsible for your life. Remove hostility or fear from the mind, thus remove from the body, the chemical aberration (or dis-ease) will disappear. In the beginning the mind-energy became flesh. Treatment can help but it cannot heal. Two qualities of mind-energy, that which builds it up and that which tears it down (sin).

Caller David J., doing the CoDependence Self-study, a lot of things are opening up, many ‘thought clusters’ are diminishing and am able to step back from blame and have ability to make more choices instead of just ‘re-act’.  Doing it more thoughtful and mindful. Letting go of the catholic beliefs of punishment and not being worthy, waiting for the other shoe to drop. A lot more freedom, living in the moment. See the thought disorders around ‘penance’ and feel the shift and change. Getting in touch with true self. Have done Jungian analysis therapy, EMDR therapy, qigong, meditation, etc but this work has done so much more. His girlfriend is very scientific and they are doing these together. He has slowed down instead of storming the gates, more effective. David inputs for anybody, a lot of therapies were ‘blame your parents, blame others’ and not helping. This gives you back your power to make the shifts.

Movie “The Life of Pi” says “Catholic Hindus … means we get to feel guilty before hundreds of gods.”

Caller Cecilia, has been able to open her space to be love for another as well.  Doing the intensive and multiple worksheets and yet her house has not sold and she needs to focus.  michael suggested a worksheet on the house, brings up concern, process through the concern, because she is dwindling down through her money and needs the money to live on. Worksheet with that goal. Or could be bills or taxes coming up.  michael said intuitively, like a MindShifter, sit down and write a letter to the person who will buy the house and tell them how great it is for them and you and how that money is serving you.  Pay attention to the slightest negative thought that surfaces.

Jeanie continued to read from “The Untethered Soul” by Michael Singer, Chapter 4 ‘The Lucid Self’ – yesterday we read about getting lost in the experience instead of staying conscious and aware.

Read part of Bringing Yourself Back to the Present https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/out-the-darkness/201504/bringing-yourself-back-the-present

“Wherever you are and whatever you’re doing, there are always three different things you can do with your attention. Firstly, you can give it to the thought-chatter in your head – the stream of mental associations (images, memories, future projections, worries etc.) that runs through our minds when our attention isn’t occupied. Secondly, you can choose to immerse your attention in tasks or distractions, such as TV programmes, magazines, the Internet or a hobby. Or thirdly, you can give your attention on your actual present experience – that is, focus your attention on your actual surroundings, and the experiences you have in those surroundings.

… you can think of these three states as ‘the three As’: abstraction (i.e. immersion in thought-chatter), absorption (i.e. in activities or distractions) and awareness (i.e. conscious attention to our experience). It isn’t completely cut and dried, of course – in a state of abstraction or absorption, you’re usually still in a state of partial awareness too. For example, even if you’re daydreaming or listening to an audio book while jogging, you’re obviously still aware of your surroundings to a degree – enough to pay attention to the traffic, or to keep to your normal route. But usually this is only a very basic and functional awareness; the largest proportion of your mental energy is given up to absorption or abstraction.

Being present equates with a state of well-being. It enables us to perceive beauty and wonder in the world around us. And in a sense, being present means being truly alive. Our lives only consist of the present – the past and the future are only abstractions, which don’t really exist. There is never anything except our experience in the present moment. So if we’re not aware of our experience in the present – if we’re in a state of absorption or abstraction – then in a sense we’re not really living.

Whenever you realise that you’re in abstraction or absorption, try to make a habit of bringing yourself back to the present – not too rigidly or harshly, but with what I call a ‘gentle mental nudge.’ Whenever you realise that you’ve become immersed in thought-chatter, gently withdraw your attention from it and re-focus on your surroundings and your experience. Focus on the room you’re in and the objects and other people around you, and on the sounds you can hear. Look at the colour and shape of the objects and their relationship to each other. Feel the texture of the table you’re sitting at, the pen you’re writing with or the carpet your feet are on. Make a conscious effort to smell – perhaps the room or the street is filled with smells you weren’t aware of but which are quite perceptible. Do the same whenever you feel the impulse to immerse your attention in distractions or activities.

If you don’t do this gently, and jolt your attention away from thought-chatter, you’ll generate resistance, which will make it difficult for you to be present. Rather than forcing yourself, just gently guide yourself back into the present, and re-orientate yourself there.”

Jeanie shared a portion of a chapter from her book, a chapter called Be Aware.

Dishonor of self – did not ask for it.  Realized even before their conversation, he judged (dishonored) his wife projecting her reaction.  MindShifter: “Whenever the women in my life (wife, daughter, mother) are in upset I maintain awareness that I am innocent and safe.” First thought, I have to …fight, fix it, correct it, be….  It came up around being dominated (not just being innocent), what if she is over-confident? Hear the threat of being dominated, lot of put down energy, direct insults, quality of character from the person who is suppose to be the presence of love.  What would I have to achieve to stand and be the space regardless of her exploding?

2nd hour recording of ACIM (from Global Book Club) Q&A June 1, 2023

Summary:

The radio show opens with a reflection on the process of learning and internalizing new perspectives. The host shares how concepts from Yeshua’s teachings and A Course in Miracles require repeated exposure to fully grasp. He explains that perception is shaped by the brain cells one has developed, emphasizing that people do not actually “hear” words but instead interpret vibrations based on their own pre-existing mental structures. This leads into a discussion of how perception can be misleading and how forgiveness, as described in Aramaic, is the key to removing inaccurate mental filters. The host introduces the idea that reality is not objective but rather an output of one’s mind, using an example from his granddaughter’s experience to illustrate how different individuals perceive the same situation differently.

The conversation then shifts to the impact of inherited mental patterns and how people unconsciously project their internal traumas onto external situations. The host discusses how generational trauma influences personal experiences, explaining that beliefs embedded in family lineage, such as victimhood, tend to manifest in life circumstances. He describes how changing one’s internal energetic patterns shifts external experiences, moving from a reality of suffering to one of support and nurturing. The discussion emphasizes that forgiveness is not about condoning harmful behavior but about dissolving false perceptions to reveal a more accurate and loving reality.

A caller named Corey asks about how changing false thoughts affects external situations. The host explains that all experiences are interconnected with one’s internal energy patterns and that true change requires both forgiveness and self-awareness. He shares an example of a man who, through a deep breathing process, uncovered an unconscious belief tied to a past-life memory, which dramatically transformed his real-world relationships within hours. This example illustrates how deeply held unconscious patterns can dictate life experiences and how uncovering and releasing these patterns can lead to profound shifts.

The discussion further explores the nature of perception and the limitations of human understanding. The host uses an analogy of two-dimensional creatures trying to comprehend a three-dimensional world to suggest that humans may be limited by their three-dimensional awareness in a multi-dimensional reality. He ties this to A Course in Miracles, explaining that forgiveness is not the end goal but rather a tool for clearing mental distortions and accessing higher states of consciousness. A caller asks why forgiveness is not considered the pinnacle of spiritual development, and the host clarifies that forgiveness is simply a means to an end—it removes blockages that prevent enlightenment, but once a person has fully awakened, the tool is no longer needed.

Another caller shares personal experiences of repeatedly attracting narcissistic and abusive partners. The host addresses this by explaining that life reflects internal unresolved patterns, suggesting that such relationships resonate with unresolved family trauma or energetic imbalances. He challenges the idea that empaths “feel” others’ emotions, instead arguing that people are resonating with their own unresolved emotions when encountering certain energies. By engaging in forgiveness and resolving internal patterns, the caller can shift away from attracting abusive dynamics.

Toward the end of the show, the host shares personal reflections on what excites him most—raising his granddaughter and deepening his own healing work. He recounts a profound experience during a breathwork session where he became aware of the unresolved traumas of his ancestors and was given the opportunity to help process them. This realization reinforced his commitment to doing deep personal work, as healing oneself contributes to the healing of past and future generations. He encourages listeners to engage fully in the forgiveness process and to recognize that resistance, denial, and blame are the primary barriers to transformation.

The episode concludes with a reminder that true spiritual progress depends on one’s willingness to confront internal distortions and apply forgiveness repeatedly. The host shares a metaphor comparing personal growth to emptying a barrel of water—progress depends on whether one allows the energy to flow freely or blocks it with resistance. The final message is one of empowerment: individuals have the capacity to transform their reality by shifting their internal landscape, and doing so not only benefits their own lives but also helps to heal the world.

Jeanie reading from “The Untethered Soul” by Michael Singer, Chapter 5 ‘Infinite Energy’ the energy flow within can be blocked. Goals. Forgiveness.

The radio show begins with an exploration of Yeshua’s ancient teachings, particularly the meaning of “the veil of the temple must be rent in twain.” The host explains that this is not about a physical curtain in a church but rather the barrier between the subconscious and unconscious mind. He suggests that humans are not meant to have an unconscious mind at all and that full energy flow would be constant if this barrier were removed. However, most people block this energy flow through denial, unresolved trauma, and inherited thought patterns. The discussion emphasizes that one of the biggest missing pieces in modern healing is the lack of self-care and time dedicated to restoring energy, which leads to chronic dysfunction in both the body and mind.

The show delves into the unique ability of human beings to originate new experiences rather than simply follow instincts like animals. Unlike a fox that moves its den based on survival instincts, humans can create new possibilities, whether positive or negative. This creative power, however, is often influenced by generational patterns of fear, rage, and condemnation. Many people inherit destructive energetic dynamics from their family systems and culture without realizing they have the ability to break free. The host stresses that people must actively engage in healing work to free themselves from these energetic burdens rather than simply reacting to external circumstances.

The concept of forgiveness is explored in depth, with the host explaining how the Greek translation of scriptures has distorted its true meaning. In the Aramaic language, forgiveness is not about pardoning another person but about removing one’s own internal blockages. When someone triggers hostility or fear within a person, the correct approach is to forgive “as to” that person—meaning to remove the triggered energy from oneself rather than falsely believing that another person is the cause. The host warns against the illusion that others can “make” someone angry, explaining that such beliefs only reinforce unconscious trauma. True healing comes when individuals recognize their emotional reactions as their own responsibility and use forgiveness to release them.

The discussion moves into the physiological consequences of blocked energy, showing how emotional suppression leads to disease. The host describes how restriction of energy flow within cells leads to dysfunction, beginning as minor health issues and eventually developing into chronic illnesses. He warns against the medical system’s focus on diagnosing disease after years of dysfunction rather than addressing the root energetic imbalances early on. Quoting Albert Einstein, he emphasizes that what people perceive as physical matter is actually energy, meaning that illness is not just a physical condition but an energetic imbalance.

A significant portion of the show critiques pharmaceutical advertising and the medical industry’s role in shaping public perception of health. The host argues that drug advertisements manipulate people into believing they need medication for problems that originate in their own blocked energy systems. He suggests that true healing does not come from suppressing symptoms with medication but from restoring natural energy flow through practices such as forgiveness, conscious breathing, and eliminating toxic thought patterns. He describes how mass media conditions people to believe they are sick, subtly planting thought forms that later manifest as disease.

The conversation shifts to energy flow in daily life, with a discussion on gardening and growing one’s own food as a way to connect with natural energy. The host shares how his family has increased their pollinator population by growing indigenous plants, demonstrating how supporting natural energy flow benefits both human well-being and the environment. He introduces the concept of “feeding plants chocolate,” explaining how organic superfoods can enhance plant growth just as proper nutrition and energy practices enhance human health.

Toward the end of the show, a caller shares her experience of shifting her energy and observing how it transforms her interactions. She describes her efforts to release rage, improve relationships, and maintain a peaceful mindset. The host supports her journey, emphasizing that emotional transformation happens when a person becomes aware of their internal states and actively chooses to change them. Another caller discusses her upcoming move and the emotional processing involved in saying goodbye to loved ones. The show closes with reflections on the importance of self-awareness and the ability to shift one’s energy through conscious effort.

Jeanie reading from “The Untethered Soul” by Michael Singer, Chapter 5 ‘Infinite Energy’ you are in control to be open to the energy flow or close down. The habit based on our past for survival is on automatic pilot. We can break the habit if we choose. Jeanie gave the example of being ‘triggered’ and disassociating from her body (leaving). Recognize the habit and work on changing it – commit to stay and be present.

michael talked about ‘words’ – life and death are in your words.  Refine the word ‘love’

Take time every day to stop and purposely extend love to yourself (mind, body, spirit). The other half of the journey is applied forgiveness.

Chatroom has UK, USA and Australia represented.

Caller Cecilia, what keeps her locked in money issues? Might be the thought distortion of you don’t deserve abundance.  Have you cancelled your need to have enough money to maintain both houses? If you are participating, even on a subtle level, you want to cancel (forgive) the underlying issues. Maybe poverty, deserving. If grumbling about paying the electricity then cancel the electricity. It is not worth your health. Appreciation, gratitude. Getting deeper so it takes more refined awareness, be patient with yourself. Giving at least 2.4 hrs per day to spiritual growth. The universe gives back through the hole you give through. Things show up differently. The core for michael was that he was brought up that to do spiritual work you had to live in poverty, when he worked through that everything changed. The controlling energy is ‘what mind energy inhibits’?

Jeanie completed reading Chapter 5 ‘Infinite Energy’ from “The Untethered Soul” by Michael Singer, different wording but referring to goals and releasing and being the observer and staying connected to love no matter what.

michael watched a video at the request of someone but it presents such conspiracy to run others lives. When someone refuses to be responsible for their own life then yes someone will step up to run it for you. Universal religion of blame. Take responsibility. Just because something ‘agrees’ with a premise you want to believe is true does not mean it is the TRUTH.

Jeanie began reading Chapter 6 ‘The Secrets of the Spiritual Heart’ from “The Untethered Soul” by Michael Singer- Chi, Shakti, Spirit are the chakra center where energy flows. Experience life moment to moment instead of holding on and closing down.

Caller Audrey asked why her perception was so far off in playing/identifying cards

Caller Doug, talked about consciously making Dianne the most important focus of his life (because he used to leave relationships). That is not what she wants. You are making your happiness ‘outside of you’ and it has to be from within. You are talking about attachment. michael asked are you looking for someone to fill what is ‘missing’ in you? Show up whole and make real commitment and relationship. If I have an attachment to another for being whole, it is a perceived deficiency, need to cut the emotional strings that keeps the pattern going. Exercise of emotional release.

Cutting attachment https://whyagain.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/Release-technique-Michael-Ryce.mp3

His ‘goal to be 100% there for her’ became a condition that he could not be whole without her. If I don’t show up as love but expect to find it outside of me then “Looking for Love in all the wrong places, looking for love in too many faces” then felt so empty – not whole any more. Was probably born on needing to be committed and needed, some insecurity. Has never been able to sustain the relationship that long before, was never good enough, layers of guilt for not doing it before. Consciously cultivating the person who could be in a deep relationship.

When I let go of the attachment (the focus of out there that allows me to keep the deficiency hidden) then the deficiency surfaces and can be forgiven.

Caller Doug – waves of grief, fear and loss that his mind convinces him are attached to his relationship with Dianne (or loss of relationship as he would like it to be).  When a child, attachment to his parents and the relationship with them when they were fighting/separating.  A lot of elements very similar. Developed nervous tics and they put him on tranquilizers due to his distress. Cancel the parallel goals for self, Dianne, relationship and lives together and then look at relationship with his parents – same list. Threat of a 6 year old and survival will surface.

ACIM 2 paragraphs used to put michael into an altered state, then one day it was just words on a page (complete with its work on him)

“It would indeed be strange if you were asked to go beyond all symbols of the world, forgetting them forever; yet were asked to take a teaching function. You have need to use the symbols of the world a while. But be you not deceived by them as well. They do not stand for anything at all, and in your practicing it is this thought that will release you from them. They become but means by which you can communicate in ways the world can understand, but which you recognize is not the unity where true communication can be found. Thus what you need are intervals each day in which the learning of the world becomes a transitory phase; a prison house from which you go into the sunlight and forget the darkness. Here you understand the Word, the Name which God has given you; the one Identity which all things share; the one acknowledgment of what is true. And then step back to darkness, not because you think it real, but only to proclaim its unreality in terms which still have meaning in the world that darkness rules.”  ACIM Lesson 184 “The Name of God is My Inheritance”

“The world is false perception. It is born of error, and it has not left its source. It will remain no longer than the thought that gave it birth is cherished.” ACIM, Workbook 3 “What is the World?

Go through the emotional release exercise with Doug around Dianne. (michael read the 2 paragraphs again) Powerful ideas and concept is Truth. Doug said he noticed his reluctance and that it shows his attachment. EGO says must hold us together. Thoughts: you are broken, never good enough, unworthy and inadequate.

Catholic Church Act of Contrition – two ways to resolve the errors of their life perfect: “I messed up and feel bad about that because I did not develop my relationship with you.” or the imperfect being sorry because of fear of going to hell not because of lack of relationship with the Creator.

Actual words are “O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins because of thy just punishments, but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, who art all good and deserving of all my love.  I firmly resolve with the help of Thy grace to sin no more and to avoid the near occasion of sin. Amen.”

Real healing is staying connected (relationship) with God, not with Dianne.

Two halves of the journey: One is to weaken the structures (generational patterns) of hostility, fear and attachment (forgiveness), the other half is developing your relationship with Source, LOVE. Forgiveness is the ONLY single edge sword – it can never be turned against you. All other constructs of the mind are two edged swords, and can (and will) be turned against you.

“Blockage of Personal Error” now called “Blockage of Truth” in Laws of Living. When I call my error truth then the real Truth cannot get in.

Yesterday’s show will be separated into a special show. The whole output of your mind is perception and is a symbol. “If I am in pain, I am in error.” changed to “If I am in pain, my thinking is in error.” All pain and trauma is your mind presenting you a symbol about what is happening in the world. Words of the world stand for nothing and it is that thought in your practicing that will release you from the lie. Words are symbols of symbols twice removed from the truth.

Read the email from Sarah about ‘failing’ when trying to do the exercise. Address her ‘issue’ of self-sabotage. michael offered for her to do worksheets on your mind distracting you. Forgiveness of distraction. Watch the movie “Catch Me If You Can” the character is a master of distraction to get what he wants. Also possibility of Power Person dynamic when you say maybe Rukha doesn’t want me to release. When you wanted to do something did your PP blame you and perhaps stopped you from following through?  Rukha will execute but will never force or originate or interfere. Ask and Receive. Taught to blame another even if it is God (it’s God’s will).  Rukha will not assist in removing something if you are not willing to let go first. We engage in patterns that have a result, not that God allowed it. Ex. Worksheet you cancel first then ask for assistance from Rukha.  In the CoDependence there is an extension PP worksheet.

Caller Joe, his father is transitioning. Meeting for lunch with Ivan (a deacon at the church and also a therapist and one of Dad’s friends) and Dad, but then Joe wants to address his Dad’s dying (he is not living).  He is sarcastic (which is rage) and never ‘hugs’.  He sees the changes in Joe but wants Joe to come back to the church.  Jeanie offered her experience of letting go and telling Dad to go.  Give permission to go if that is what he chooses.  Permission and acceptance of the outcome.  michael said perhaps a priest he has a relationship with that could join you and hold the space?  Another reason, forgiveness process 77×70. Raised in family and community setting the idea ‘you think you are better than me’ or ‘they will get the best of me’ MindShifter: “It is safe and healing and I absolutely appreciate it, as well as enjoy it, when people get the better of me.”

Mentioned the ‘Creeper Trail’ and getting together.

Caller Rex, experience that came to mind as Joe was talking. When he has something with Father or Mother (Power Person) it tends to be ‘what I want’ goals for self. Ex. I want him to be alive and address the growth on his neck. That could get in the way. Just bringing this up is awareness in my own process. Enticing and interesting: being aware of what I want helps me see what I am doing with the information. Let that fall away and be there as a compassionate son, what do you want? With his Mom, she had two brain bleeds, he said I know you want to go home but you won’t be able to and it is OK to go on. ACIM “Distorting power of the way you want it to be.”

Today ACIM Global Book Club will not be happening – Yinka is taking a day of silence and no technology.

Hosted by dr michael ryce, opens with a warm welcome to listeners and a reminder that participation is encouraged by calling in. As they await a guest, Michael, the hosts explain recent updates to the Global Book Club’s schedule. Michael and Yinka are now co-facilitating the club every second and fourth Thursday, and they’re integrating “A Course in Miracles” into the mix on the first, third, and fifth Thursdays. Michael elaborates that their past session is available on YouTube and shares that previously paid course-related video content will now be offered freely for the Hear My Voice Book Club, followed by Q&A discussions.

The conversation shifts into a heartfelt segment featuring a listener, Jurate, who shares her emotional struggles while supporting her 24-year-old son Tomas through a recent cancer diagnosis. The hosts express deep empathy and extend love and support to her family, emphasizing the power of community and connection. Jurate reflects on the challenge of watching someone you love suffer and the healing power of love, shared intention, and vulnerability in expressing pain. She speaks about the emotional constriction she experiences, symbolized by physical reactions like a tight throat, and how sharing on platforms like Instagram has had a visible positive impact on her son’s pain.

The episode then transitions into a reading and reflection on Michael Singer’s The Untethered Soul, specifically focusing on the chapter “The Secrets of the Spiritual Heart.” This leads to a deep discussion about the nature of samskaras—energetic imprints from past experiences that get stored in the heart when not fully processed. These blockages, the hosts explain, can unconsciously influence emotions and behaviors years later. The concept is paralleled with the Aramaic understanding of “sin,” not in the religious sense, but as “off the mark”—energies that disrupt one’s alignment with love and wholeness. They emphasize that unresolved emotional energies can be passed down generationally, sometimes resurfacing decades later, amplified through resonance with current events.

Michael Ryce and Jeanie (spelled with one “n”) draw parallels between Singer’s Eastern metaphors and the teachings of A Course in Miracles, the Aramaic traditions, and their own work. They emphasize the critical importance of conscious breathing, mindfulness, and forgiveness in releasing these energies. A key message repeated is that both clinging to pleasurable past moments and resisting painful ones result in energetic blockages. True healing and inner peace come from allowing energy to move freely, rather than holding onto it.

The show concludes by encouraging listeners to embrace the present moment, commit to their inner work, and cultivate openness of the heart. The hosts invite everyone to take responsibility for their internal states rather than blaming others, and to build a relationship with the inner teacher rather than external authority figures.

A caller named Anne shares her reflections from a road trip and how certain teachings, like those from The Power of Now, have begun resonating more deeply after time and life experience. Her ability to now absorb insights she previously found too abstract is attributed to doing the inner work encouraged on the show, including listening regularly and attempting the practices shared by Michael Ryce, Jeanie, and Dr. Tim Hayes.

The episode builds on ongoing discussions of spiritual healing through inner observation and forgiveness. Michael and Jeanie discuss how the mind stores unresolved emotional experiences, known as samskaras, which can be triggered unexpectedly by seemingly unrelated present events. Referencing Michael Singer’s The Untethered Soul, they explore the idea that healing comes not from avoiding or suppressing emotional pain, but from allowing it to surface and pass through without resistance. Jeanie shares a personal experience with healing mono-like symptoms, recognizing it as a release of past energies rather than a new illness. This distinction—between reliving past pain and truly experiencing the present—becomes a major theme of the show.

They continue reading from The Untethered Soul, where the idea of relaxing the spiritual heart and allowing energies to release is emphasized. They caution against trying to control the external world to avoid inner discomfort and instead encourage purification by simply letting go when triggered. Michael adds that what’s often interpreted as current pain is actually a memory of pain being reactivated. Observing this with awareness allows one to break the cycle. They stress the practice of being “the observer,” or the thinker apart from the thoughts, as a gateway to releasing long-held blockages.

The discussion shifts to the body-mind connection, specifically how unresolved emotional tension can lead to chronic pain and physical symptoms. Michael references the work of Dr. John Sarno and the concept of Tension Myoneural Syndrome (TMS), where emotional repression tightens muscles, restricts blood flow, and leads to real, physical pain. He explains that physical tools like the Avacyn device—used to improve blood flow via warming the blood through the hand—can help relax the muscles and mimic the effects of forgiveness on a physiological level. He describes this tool as a “physical form of forgiveness” that complements emotional and mental healing practices.

Later in the show, a participant named Susan recommends The Lazy Man’s Guide to Enlightenment by Thaddeus Golas, praising its clarity and resonance with the show’s teachings. The book encourages loving all aspects of self, even the so-called “negative” parts, and aligns with the show’s messages of inclusion, compassion, and integration. They discuss the power of language and the importance of conscious inner dialogue, and how true love always seeks to include and transcend fear. Michael responds with enthusiasm about reading the book, recognizing its value despite the dismissive review by the author’s own nephew.

The show ends with announcements about upcoming events, including the Hear My Voice Book Club’s sessions featuring A Course in Miracles, and the potential for an intuitive development intensive. Jeanie closes by encouraging listeners to create the best day yet of their eternal life, affirming the show’s central message of healing through conscious, compassionate presence.

The June 20th, 2023 radio show hosted by Michael Ryce and Jeanie centers on the theme of spiritual awakening, self-responsibility, and the deep inner work necessary to achieve lasting healing and freedom. The episode begins with Michael reflecting on the power of small, local actions that individuals can take to support systemic change, such as voter registration outreach. He then shares personal anecdotes about working in a steep, challenging garden space, tying it back to the physical toll and the opportunity for inner work when facing strain or resistance—mirroring the broader themes of the show.

Jeanie transitions into reading Chapter Seven from Michael Singer’s The Untethered Soul, titled “Transcending the Tendency to Close.” The chapter explores how the survival instinct, originally biological, has evolved into psychological self-protection in modern society. People now guard their egos and emotional vulnerabilities by closing down their energetic centers and retreating inward rather than facing challenges with openness. This tendency to shut down creates stagnation, blocking joy, spontaneity, and personal growth. The authors emphasize that true liberation requires the willingness to feel discomfort and allow all parts of the psyche—even the painful or rejected aspects—to surface and pass through.

Michael Ryce adds depth to the reading by connecting Singer’s ideas to his own work in Aramaic forgiveness. He explains that spiritual healing comes from recognizing how internal energies are distorted by fear, hostility, and unresolved trauma, often triggered by unmet goals or external stimuli. He draws parallels to how societal systems and political forces instill fear to control people—just as family dynamics and personal beliefs can lock people into cycles of suffering. He warns against the normalization of verbal and emotional violence in public discourse and emphasizes that if we continue to project blame outward, we disempower ourselves from true healing.

The hosts stress the need to “be the observer”—a theme echoed in both Singer’s book and Ryce’s teachings. This means stepping back from one’s thoughts, feelings, and actions in order to disengage from reactive emotional patterns and witness them without judgment. Jeanie continues the reading, which emphasizes that true growth happens when the self is unified, no longer fragmented into the scared parts and the parts trying to protect them. This is achieved through conscious awareness, allowing the energies to move without resistance. The chapter calls for radical acceptance of all internal experiences and offers “letting go” as the path to freedom.

Michael discusses how this process mirrors the Aramaic definition of forgiveness, which means “to cancel.” He describes how forgiveness collapses the projections we cast onto others, allowing us to directly access and heal the unresolved energies from past experiences. He explains that blame is a diversion and that emotional pain repeated through various people and events is actually the reactivation of an internal wound. By cancelling the goal that underpins the mind’s projection, we interrupt the cycle and uncover the hidden pain that needs to be resolved in the presence of love.

The show ends with announcements about a potential upcoming Intuitive Development Intensive hosted online via Zoom. Michael describes it as a practicum focused on refining the intuitive faculty through exercises, healing processes, and breathwork. He invites listeners to register interest via email. They also take a moment to send support to a listener named Jurate and her son Tomas, who is undergoing cancer treatment and has been surrounded by a loving, supportive community. As always, Michael concludes the show by encouraging listeners to create the best year yet of their eternal life.

Caller Magda, do things at home to be healthier. Meditate and radiate love to those in the world who make choices and decisions that degrades our earth and air and water. Focus loving energy so they would ‘shape up’ and do things differently, so her goals to change them was to ‘toss a lot of love toward them’ for the highest and best and have no idea what that is.

Jeanie read the last of Chapter 7 ‘Transcending the Tendency to Close’ from “The Untethered Soul” by Michael Singer. Stop, Relax, Release, Let Go.

ACIM says: “2. This is the only thing that you need do for vision, happiness, release from pain and the complete escape from sin, all to be given you. ²Say only this, but mean it with no reservations, for here the power of salvation lies:

³I am responsible for what I see.
⁴I choose the feelings I experience, and I decide upon the goal I would achieve.
⁵And everything that seems to happen to me I ask for, and receive as I have asked.

⁶Deceive yourself no longer that you are helpless in the face of what is done to you. ⁷Acknowledge but that you have been mistaken, and all effects of your mistakes will disappear.” (ACIM, T-21.II.2:1-7) “3. It is impossible the Son of God be merely driven by events outside of him. ²It is impossible that happenings that come to him were not his choice. ³His power of decision is the determiner of every situation in which he seems to find himself by chance or accident. ⁴No accident nor chance is possible within the universe as God created it, outside of which is nothing. ⁵Suffer, and you decided sin was your goal. ⁶Be happy, and you gave the power of decision to Him Who must decide for God for you. ⁷This is the little gift you offer to the Holy Spirit, and even this He gives to you to give yourself. ⁸For by this gift is given you the power to release your savior, that he may give salvation unto you.” (ACIM, T-21.II.3:1-8)

Choice is to introduce something new in the mind that has never existed before. If what is stored in the mind, resonated, that is decision.

Add energy via your ‘focus’ and draw it to you. Potential by pushing it down and energize the pattern within. Some people say they don’t want to look at their issues (ie forgiveness) because it’ll add energy to the issue.  The worksheet is not about just bringing up an issue but letting go, weakening the energy.

ACIM Development of Trust  “3. First, they must go through what might be called “a period of undoing.” ²This need not be painful, but it usually is so experienced. ³It seems as if things are being taken away, and it is rarely understood initially that their lack of value is merely being recognized. ⁴How can lack of value be perceived unless the perceiver is in a position where he must see things in a different light? ⁵He is not yet at a point at which he can make the shift entirely internally. ⁶And so the plan will sometimes call for changes in what seem to be external circumstances. ⁷These changes are always helpful. ⁸When the teacher of God has learned that much, he goes on to the second stage. 4. Next, the teacher of God must go through “a period of sorting out.” ²This is always somewhat difficult because, having learned that the changes in his life are always helpful, he must now decide all things on the basis of whether they increase the helpfulness or hamper it. ³He will find that many, if not most of the things he valued before will merely hinder his ability to transfer what he has learned to new situations as they arise. ⁴Because he has valued what is really valueless, he will not generalize the lesson for fear of loss and sacrifice. ⁵It takes great learning to understand that all things, events, encounters and circumstances are helpful. ⁶It is only to the extent to which they are helpful that any degree of reality should be accorded them in this world of illusion. ⁷The word “value” can apply to nothing else.  5. The third stage through which the teacher of God must go can be called “a period of relinquishment.” ²If this is interpreted as giving up the desirable, it will engender enormous conflict. ³Few teachers of God escape this distress entirely. ⁴There is, however, no point in sorting out the valuable from the valueless unless the next obvious step is taken. ⁵Therefore, the period of overlap is apt to be one in which the teacher of God feels called upon to sacrifice his own best interests on behalf of truth. ⁶He has not realized as yet how wholly impossible such a demand would be. ⁷He can learn this only as he actually does give up the valueless. ⁸Through this, he learns that where he anticipated grief, he finds a happy lightheartedness instead; where he thought something was asked of him, he finds a gift bestowed on him. 6. Now comes “a period of settling down.” ²This is a quiet time, in which the teacher of God rests a while in reasonable peace. ³Now he consolidates his learning. ⁴Now he begins to see the transfer value of what he has learned. ⁵Its potential is literally staggering, and the teacher of God is now at the point in his progress at which he sees in it his whole way out. ⁶“Give up what you do not want, and keep what you do.” ⁷How simple is the obvious! ⁸And how easy to do! ⁹The teacher of God needs this period of respite. ¹⁰He has not yet come as far as he thinks. ¹¹Yet when he is ready to go on, he goes with mighty companions beside him. ¹²Now he rests a while, and gathers them before going on. ¹³He will not go on from here alone.” (ACIM, M-4.I-A.3:1–6:13)  “7. The next stage is indeed “a period of unsettling.” ²Now must the teacher of God understand that he did not really know what was valuable and what was valueless. ³All that he really learned so far was that he did not want the valueless, and that he did want the valuable. ⁴Yet his own sorting out was meaningless in teaching him the difference. ⁵The idea of sacrifice, so central to his own thought system, had made it impossible for him to judge. ⁶He thought he learned willingness, but now he sees that he does not know what the willingness is for. ⁷And now he must attain a state that may remain impossible to reach for a long, long time. ⁸He must learn to lay all judgment aside, and ask only what he really wants in every circumstance. ⁹Were not each step in this direction so heavily reinforced, it would be hard indeed! 8. And finally, there is “a period of achievement.” ²It is here that learning is consolidated. ³Now what was seen as merely shadows before become solid gains, to be counted on in all “emergencies” as well as tranquil times. ⁴Indeed, the tranquility is their result; the outcome of honest learning, consistency of thought and full transfer. ⁵This is the stage of real peace, for here is Heaven’s state fully reflected. ⁶From here, the way to Heaven is open and easy. ⁷In fact, it is here. ⁸Who would “go” anywhere, if peace of mind is already complete? ⁹And who would seek to change tranquility for something more desirable? ¹⁰What could be more desirable than this?” (ACIM, M-4.I-A.7:1–8:10)

June 22, 2023 summary

Discussion on how language and perception shape reality, often distorting truth by turning it backward. How people commonly believe that external events cause fear, when in reality, it is the internal holding of fear that attracts those situations. The importance of recognizing fear as an energetic block rather than a result of life circumstances. By acknowledging how deeply fear is ingrained in human consciousness (rooted in generations of trauma) individuals can begin the process of dismantling these patterns and reclaiming their true nature. The paradox of living in what is arguably the most peaceful time in human history, despite the constant exposure to violence and chaos through media. The concept of resonance, how energy fields interact and influence one another. The host explains the law of resonance, which states that when two frequencies are in harmony, they naturally exchange energy. This principle applies to human relationships and interactions, where individuals are drawn to those who match their internal energetic patterns. He uses the example of two pianos, where striking a middle C on one piano causes the same string to vibrate on another piano without direct contact. Similarly, people unconsciously attract relationships and experiences that mirror their internal state. How hidden fears and suppressed emotions create an energetic signal that attracts corresponding situations and people, reinforcing cycles of distress. How perception is shaped by the mind’s filtering process. Referencing Harvard research, the host explains that out of 10,000 brain cells firing at any given moment, only nine bits of information reach conscious awareness. This limited awareness means that if one’s mental space is filled with false beliefs or unresolved trauma, there is no room for new insights or truth to enter. Much of human suffering comes from holding onto past perceptions as absolute truth, rather than recognizing them as conditioned responses shaped by personal experiences. The challenge is not just in shifting perception but in actively removing the emotional and energetic blocks that sustain these distortions. Forgiveness is key to breaking free from false perception and healing deep-seated trauma. The host emphasizes that true forgiveness is not about excusing others but about removing one’s own internal blocks. The cultural misunderstanding of forgiveness, which often frames it as an act of letting others off the hook. Instead, he explains that forgiveness is a process of dissolving the internal frequencies of anger, fear, and resentment, thereby freeing oneself from their destructive effects. This to the idea that unresolved trauma manifests in physical illness, reinforcing that the body and mind are interconnected and that releasing toxic emotions is essential for true healing. The relationship between resonance and attraction, particularly in the context of victim consciousness. The host shares research from a prison study in which inmates, when asked to identify potential victims from a lineup of strangers, overwhelmingly selected the same individuals. He explains that this selection was based on an unconscious energetic resonance rather than any visible characteristic. This demonstrates how individuals who carry unresolved victim patterns unknowingly project an energetic signal that attracts experiences reinforcing that identity. By clearing these patterns, people can shift their energy and attract healthier, more empowering relationships and situations. MindShifters is a tool used to reprogram the subconscious mind. How affirmations alone are ineffective if they contradict deeply held unconscious beliefs. If someone who has lived in poverty affirms wealth without addressing their internal programming, their subconscious will reject the affirmation. Instead, a mind shifter works by surfacing hidden beliefs and allowing individuals to process and release them. The technique involves writing a transformative statement on one side of a page and documenting all thoughts and emotions that arise in response on the other side. This process reveals unconscious blocks and provides a framework for applying forgiveness to remove them. The power of sound and frequency in shaping human experience. A caller shares a personal story about performing music in an Alzheimer’s care facility, witnessing how familiar songs instantly revived patients who had been unresponsive. The host connects this to the science of resonance, explaining how music carries vibrational energy that can awaken dormant memories and emotions. He also warns about the impact of modern music carrying destructive frequencies, urging listeners to be mindful of the energetic content they expose themselves to. The final message of the show is that individuals have the power to change their lives by shifting their internal resonance, practicing forgiveness, and consciously choosing the frequencies they engage with.

The June 23rd, 2023 episode of Mindshifters Radio with Michael Ryce and Jeanie dives deep into the core concepts of inner healing, spiritual transformation, and the urgency of letting go in the moment. The show continues the reading from Michael Singer’s The Untethered Soul, specifically the chapter titled “Let Go Now or Fall.” This segment lays out the anatomy of what happens when individuals resist releasing their inner emotional blockages. Singer explains that the longer one holds onto disturbed energy, the deeper the descent into confusion, blame, and suffering. The only way out is immediate surrender—an act of conscious release, which Ryce and Jeanie align with the Aramaic definition of forgiveness.

Jeanie shares stories about teaching her granddaughter Arya to say “cancel that thought,” illustrating how children can grasp and apply these practices early. Singer’s text describes how holding onto fear or anger pulls consciousness away from the self and into the chaos of the triggered emotion. From that place, perception is skewed, and minor triggers can suddenly feel overwhelming. Ryce adds that in these moments, if one acts—saying something harsh, quitting a job, or lashing out—it magnifies the problem, paints the world with that unresolved energy, and passes the emotional content onto others.

Michael Ryce expands on this with reflections from A Course in Miracles, especially the line, “You are responsible for what you see.” He connects the teachings of Yeshua, Singer, and the Course by explaining how denial—believing something outside you is the cause of your pain—leads to dissociation and prevents healing. Instead, recognizing that all pain is generated within gives the power back to the individual. The truth of one’s being—love—is always present, even if obscured by layers of generational trauma, inherited belief systems, and thought disorders.

The show revisits a powerful worksheet session from the Hear My Voice Book Club that unfolded the day before. A woman participating in the session moved from visible emotional pain to radiant joy, all by shifting a single thought. Ryce explains that healing happens when one accesses the truth of their being—love—in the presence of a previously hidden, often generational, trauma. He uses examples, including a story of a toddler pleading with his mother not to beat him, to show how early conditioning creates thought patterns that obscure the truth of love. These patterns can control one’s entire life unless consciously forgiven.

Ryce emphasizes that only consistent, deliberate use of the ancient Aramaic forgiveness process can collapse the lies of perception and bring forth the healing light of one’s true self. He explains how forgiveness cancels the goals driving one’s pain-based perception, revealing the deeper cause and allowing transformation. The show invites listeners to download the free Heartland Aramaic Forgiveness app, practice the tools, and join in support through the book club and radio show. It concludes with a heartfelt reminder that anyone can access the truth of who they are—pure love—and that this inner truth can transform not only one’s personal experience, but the world itself.

Michael Ryce and Jeanie continues the transformative discussion on inner healing and emotional freedom. The show opens with an invitation to listeners to join the upcoming Intuitive Development Intensive, followed by a reading from Chapter 9 of Michael Singer’s The Untethered Soul, titled “Removing Your Inner Thorn.” Jeanie reads and reflects on the metaphor of the thorn, which symbolizes unresolved emotional pain or trauma. Singer explores how most people choose to build their lives around avoiding the pain of their internal wounds rather than healing them, likening it to someone building a complex apparatus just to avoid brushing against a literal thorn in the arm.

The hosts underscore the deeper message of this chapter—that protecting your pain only amplifies and expands it, running your entire life in subtle and overt ways. Michael Ryce emphasizes that true healing begins by turning inward and releasing the energy behind these emotional “thorns” rather than managing life to avoid them. He stresses that simply avoiding or compensating for discomfort only deepens the problem. Instead, people must engage with tools like forgiveness and breathwork to remove the energy that feeds these internal disturbances.

Michael discusses the importance of understanding real forgiveness—not pardoning oneself or others—but collapsing the internal constructs that create emotional pain. He highlights that what most people call forgiveness is actually pardoning, which never addresses the root cause of the issue. The Aramaic process of forgiveness, as he teaches it, is about uncovering, facing, and dissolving the actual energetic roots of pain with love. Ryce explains that denying the real cause of emotional distress by blaming external situations blocks healing and keeps the energetic thorn buried.

The conversation expands to include the physiological impact of holding onto emotional energy. Ryce introduces Einstein’s idea that matter is simply dense energy, and that all of our experiences are energetic interactions. When emotional energy is held in the body, it can manifest as physical symptoms or illness. He reiterates that breath is a direct connection to the Creator and a crucial part of releasing stuck energy. Holding one’s breath, often unconsciously, is a sign of resisting painful truths. Michael invites listeners to observe their breath as a clue to what’s being suppressed and to use breath as a healing tool.

Jeanie continues reading the chapter, reinforcing the practice of simply noticing what arises without judgment. Singer emphasizes that awareness itself is healing, and the key is to sit in the “seat of self” or higher consciousness, rather than getting lost in emotional reactivity. By allowing energy to move through and not identifying with it, the body and mind can release long-held emotional patterns. Ryce agrees and draws connections to stillpoint breathing and mindshifters as additional tools that activate these healing processes.

The episode also touches on lifestyle choices that support emotional clarity. Ryce shares insights about the link between food, vitality, and emotional repression. He speaks about the powerful impact of clean nutrition and references the documentary May I Be Frank, which follows a man’s physical and emotional transformation through diet, truth-telling, and spiritual work. Ryce highlights how processed foods, sugar, and caffeine are often used as anesthetics to numb emotional pain, keeping unresolved energy trapped and preventing healing.

Throughout the show, both hosts encourage listeners to be curious about their emotional responses, practice true forgiveness, and create habits that support vitality and self-awareness. They emphasize that real transformation is possible, and that by removing internal thorns rather than building a life around them, individuals can access deep peace, clarity, and love.

The June 27th, 2023 episode of Mindshifters Radio, hosted by Michael Ryce and Jeanie, dives into Chapter 10 of Michael Singer’s The Untethered Soul, titled “Stealing Freedom for Yourself.” Jeanie opens the show by reading from the book, which explores the idea that the root of human suffering is the constant internal fear and self-protection that most people live with daily. Singer describes how most people are so used to suffering that they no longer recognize it as such. They carry around burdens of insecurity, fear of rejection, and the desire to control external outcomes in order to avoid pain—often unaware of how deeply this stress has infiltrated their day-to-day thoughts and behavior.

As Jeanie reads, the concept that suffering is not inevitable becomes clearer. The psyche, like a wounded animal, becomes fragile and hyper-sensitive due to the emotional abuse it has endured—especially the impossible task it is often assigned: to ensure constant safety, approval, and success. This chronic self-monitoring and protection results in a persistent undercurrent of fear and anxiety. Michael Ryce expands on this idea by comparing it to the Aramaic understanding of “sin” as simply being “off the mark.” He reframes suffering not as punishment or unavoidable hardship, but as self-inflicted nonsense (S.I.N.)—a direct result of clinging to internal pain and using external control strategies to avoid confronting it.

Michael emphasizes that most suffering stems from internalized energy patterns passed down generationally. When people refuse to face these buried emotions, life—by design—will trigger them through resonance to offer the chance for healing. He likens this to trying to avoid a pain that inevitably resurfaces through relationships, events, or health issues. The only way to dissolve these patterns, he says, is through the Aramaic forgiveness process, which is not about pardoning others but about collapsing the perceptual constructs that hold pain in place. Forgiveness, in Ryce’s terms, is a tool that removes the internal thorn, not a justification for external actions.

The show also touches on physiological and energetic dimensions of healing. Michael notes that most people subconsciously hold their breath when encountering painful emotions, a habit that lowers vitality and reinforces suppression. Breath, as he teaches, is a direct connection to the Creator. Holding it blocks the energetic flow needed for release and keeps trauma locked within the system. He draws attention to how powerful breath, forgiveness tools, and stillpoint processes can be for unwinding lifelong patterns of suffering.

Later in the show, callers share their experiences. One long-time practitioner, Terry, reflects on how deep and layered the healing process is—even after decades of work. Another caller, Susan, shares that she’s been exploring The Lazy Man’s Guide to Enlightenment by Thaddeus Golas, a short book that has helped her connect more deeply with her inner work. She and Ryce discuss how certain messages and teachings only land when a person has built the brain cells to understand them—a phrase Ryce often uses to describe the long, layered journey of spiritual growth.

Throughout the episode, Ryce reinforces that healing requires an internal shift. Life doesn’t need to be rearranged to avoid pain; rather, it must be met with love and presence. The tools are freely available—through the website, the Heartland Aramaic Forgiveness app, YouTube videos, and daily radio support. The show concludes with a reaffirmation of the core message: that we each have the power to remove the inner blocks that fuel our suffering, and to step into a life of conscious awareness, love, and freedom.

“When an archer is shooting for nothing, he has all his skill. If he shoots for a brass buckle, he is already nervous. If he shoots for a prize of gold, he goes blind or sees two targets He is out of his mind His skill has not changed. But the prize divides him. He cares. He thinks more of winning than of shooting And the need to win drains him of power.” Chuang Tzu

The world of the awakened.

Don’t identify with the feelings.

Jeanie completed the reading of Chapter 10 ‘Stealing Freedom For Your Soul” from “The Untethered Soul” by Michael Singer. Return the mind to its proper place as a servant – not your master.

One person (David J) just completed the Self-Study CoDependence Intensive – his pre and post scores were monumental. See his testimonial https://whyagain.org/testimonials/ can see what his own mind was doing to him

So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I tell you, unless you eat the flesh and drink the blood of the Son of Man, you have no life in you. Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For My flesh is real food, and My blood is real drink. Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood remains in Me, and I in him. Just as the living Father sent Me and I live because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on Me will live because of Me.”  On hearing it, many of His disciples said, “This is a difficult teaching. Who can accept it?” Aware that His disciples were grumbling about this teaching, Jesus asked them, “Does this offend you? Then what will happen if you see the Son of Man ascend to where He was before? The Spirit gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life. However, there are some of you who do not believe.” (For Jesus had known from the beginning which of them did not believe and who would betray Him.) Then Jesus said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to Me unless the Father has granted it to him.” From that time on many of His disciples turned back and no longer walked with Him. – In the Aramaic language this is an idiom, example of speaking another language and saying “He is really cool” and you translate “You have a low body temperature.” Does not say what I meant. The idea of eating my body and drinking my blood would translate to “You want to live as Love in the world, then you have to inculcate and use every tool I teach and get rid of the parts of your mind that are in error.” Following his way, doing what he did (not communion). It is too much of a challenge to go inside so they leave.

2nd hour pre-recorded reading of the book “Why Is This Happening To Me…AGAIN?!” part 1

Michael Ryce presents a foundational overview of the principles behind their emotional healing work, framed around a powerful narrative that blends personal storytelling with transformative insights. The episode unfolds through a written dialogue between Michael and a fictional character named Richard, a composite created from decades of real conversations with individuals in crisis. This rich, story-based format allows listeners to engage with key concepts such as personal responsibility, inner reality, emotional triggers, and the true meaning of forgiveness in a grounded, relatable way.

Richard, a man burdened by a long string of failed relationships and emotional pain, comes to Michael seeking clarity. As their conversation progresses, Michael gently but firmly challenges Richard’s belief that others are the cause of his suffering. He introduces the crucial distinction between a “trigger” and a “cause,” using analogies such as the drawbridge mechanism and a two-dimensional being trying to understand a three-dimensional world. Through these examples, Michael demonstrates that while people and events may trigger pain, the real cause lies within our own internal energetic structures and belief systems.

Jeanie supports the unfolding of this teaching by echoing how these same themes apply in daily life and how they align with the tools shared through their radio show and intensives. Michael Ryce explains that the Aramaic understanding of forgiveness is about removing internal content—not pardoning others, but dissolving the energy structures in the mind that give rise to pain. As Richard begins to experiment with shifting his thoughts during a guided visualization, he experiences a shift in feelings, realizing that it’s his thoughts—not external events—that determine his emotional state. This realization, Ryce explains, is the key to self-empowerment and true healing.

The episode also emphasizes the importance of self-talk and the hidden influence of unconscious beliefs. Michael introduces the concept of “psychic megaphones,” where the frequencies of our internal realities call out to others who resonate with them, thus reactivating our pain patterns. He asserts that real change only comes when we change our internal dialogue, rather than trying to change others or run from our pain. The conversation is layered with philosophical and metaphysical depth, touching on Einstein’s views of perception, Gandhi’s devotion to truth, and the profound role of love as the law of the mind.

Throughout the episode, Michael and Jeanie guide listeners back to the essential tools of the work: breath, awareness, worksheets, and responsibility. These tools, they insist, are not complex in themselves—it is the complexity of the human mind, loaded with false perceptions, that makes integration seem difficult. With practice, however, even long-standing pain can be unwound, and life can be lived from a place of love, clarity, and peace. The show ends with encouragement to test these ideas firsthand, to be willing to suspend old beliefs, and to use the tools that make healing and awakening possible.

2nd hour pre-recorded reading of the book “Why Is This Happening To Me…AGAIN?!” part 2

A powerful deep-dive into the mind-body connection, emotional healing, and the Aramaic understanding of true forgiveness. Through an extended conversation between Michael and the character Richard, the episode explores how unresolved emotional pain becomes embedded in the body, distorting perception, behavior, and relationships. Ryce explains that without the proper tools to address and release these energies, they fester and can contribute to disease—literally dis-ease—within the physical system. Pain, rather than being an enemy, is framed as a friend in disguise—a signal from the body to grow in awareness.

Michael introduces the idea that the mind functions like a computer: it can only output based on the programming and data it contains. He explains that most people walk through life unaware that their emotional reactions are not responses to external events, but reflections of their internal, often unconscious realities. This becomes clear through Richard’s example of snapping at a waitress who, in actuality, was trying to help him. The event triggers a deeply held belief—“people take things from me”—which has its roots in his childhood with his mother. The conversation unfolds to show how Richard’s unhealed pain with his mother set the stage for repeated emotional explosions in his adult relationships.

As Richard becomes more self-aware, he begins to grasp the difference between actuality (what’s happening in the external world) and reality (what the mind constructs based on its content). He realizes that he has been projecting unresolved pain from childhood into present-day events and people, and that these projections distort his view and block healing. Michael walks him through how suppression, drugs, and denial reinforce these hidden patterns, whereas true forgiveness begins to unravel and release them. They discuss how addictive behaviors like smoking, drinking, or even caffeine use often serve to suppress pain and keep difficult emotions out of conscious awareness.

The discussion shifts into a profound explanation of projection: when someone’s internal content is triggered, the mind constructs a distorted external image and assigns the cause of internal pain to others. This creates repeated painful scenarios and prevents healing. Michael explains that forgiveness, in its original Aramaic meaning, is not about letting someone else off the hook, but rather about canceling the internal perceptions and goals that maintain painful realities. Richard experiences spontaneous emotional relief when he lets go of the expectation that his parents should have been perfect, offering a living example of how forgiveness can shift perception and bring clarity and healing.

The episode closes with Michael reinforcing that healing is not a single event but a process that can be accelerated through “cosmic grace”—the willingness to tell the truth and lovingly face what is inside. He introduces the Reality Management Worksheet as a practical, repeatable tool for unraveling painful emotional patterns and reprogramming the mind for joy, clarity, and peace. Richard’s transformation is a testimony to the show’s core message: that with the right tools, guidance, and willingness, anyone can free themselves from unconscious emotional bondage and reclaim their vitality.
