HEARTLAND SEASON 2023: If there is enough to commit to participate, we will do a 16-day Food, Fun, Forgiveness and Work program in July to get the buildings and grounds ready (as it has been closed almost 4 years). We do work projects during the day and have class at night. AND we could do a 9-day Why and/or 17-day Teachers Training in person instead of online as planned. We would require everyone take a Covid test (and it be negative) before arriving. Watch for more details.
HEARTLAND MAINTENANCE FUND RAISER – HeartLand expenses go on even though the center is not operational (due to Covid). We have one building that needs a new roof ASAP, taxes are higher and now due and other expenses like electricity continue.
