David Hayes co-hosting with Carol Guy – topic: Smoke & Mirrors – it is all internal.

Carole Guy hosted the show in Dr. Michael Ryce’s absence, who was on a cruise with his wife, Jeanie.

David Hayes shared his journey with the teachings, emphasizing the importance of doing the forgiveness worksheets from the WhyAgain.com website. He spoke about the need for commitment to oneself and the value of having support when doing this work.

The first caller, Sheena from Florida, was dealing with relationship issues and was advised to commit to herself, be present, and do the forgiveness worksheets to gain clarity. Carole added that it’s crucial to be honest with oneself and to make a commitment to personal growth.

A question from the chat room about letting go of a past relationship was answered similarly, emphasizing the need to do the worksheets and make a commitment to oneself.

David also mentioned the importance of breathwork as a foundational tool and encouraged listeners to download and read the “My Commitment to Myself” document aloud to facilitate self-healing.

The show concluded with an invitation for listeners to commit to their personal growth by using the available tools and joining the next broadcast to discuss their experiences and insights.

David Hayes co-hosting with Angel Amy – guest Dr. Tim Hayes.

David Hayes hosted the March 2, 2011 episode of MindShifters Radio, standing in for Dr. Michael Ryce who, along with his wife Jeanie, was taking some downtime.

During the show, Patrick called in to discuss the concept of a healing crisis and its benefits. He shared his personal experiences of improved physical health from engaging in release work. David emphasized the importance of viewing the body as an energy system and how true healing requires the release of blocked energies. This perspective highlighted the idea that healing crises, though challenging, are necessary steps toward overall wellness.

Dr. Tim, a longtime supporter and facilitator of MindShifters support groups, joined the conversation to share insights from his five-year experience running a support group in Chicago. Tim stressed the importance of consistency and staying focused on Michael Ryce’s material, which he believes helps build new brain cells and fosters healing. He mentioned the significant personal benefits he has experienced through this work, including reduced negativity, improved flexibility, and enhanced capacity for love.

Amy, a caller, brought up an issue with noisy neighbors and questioned whether she had attracted this situation. Tim and David explained that the response to external situations often indicates internal work that needs to be addressed. They advised Amy to use worksheets to process any underlying anger or frustration, emphasizing the importance of looking within to understand and resolve external disturbances.

In the chat room, Anitra shared that she had moved back in with her father to help him and wondered if it was a positive change. David advised her to do forgiveness worksheets to address any potential emotional issues related to the move. He supported the idea that this move could provide significant healing opportunities, not just for her father but also for Anitra herself.

Throughout the show, David and Tim reiterated the importance of commitment, regularly doing the worksheets, and maintaining a space of love. They encouraged listeners to challenge their carbon-based memory and dissociated mind to achieve genuine healing, highlighting the transformative power of these practices. The show ended on a note of encouragement, inviting listeners to join future broadcasts, engage in the support groups, and continue their personal growth journeys.

David Hayes co-hosting with Terry Bowling & Angel Amy – guest Dr. Tim Hayes.

David Hayes hosted MindShifters Radio in place of Dr. Michael Ryce, who, along with his wife Jeannie, was taking a short break. David began the show by encouraging listeners to join the discussion either by phone or through the chat room. The primary focus of the day’s conversation was on the concept of forgiveness, which, according to the Aramaic understanding, means to let go rather than the traditional notion of pardoning someone.

Amy, a regular listener, shared her progress from the previous day where she had discussed issues with noisy neighbors. She revealed that by changing her perspective and doing the forgiveness work, the noise no longer bothered her as much. This discussion highlighted how shifts in perception can alleviate emotional discomfort.

Terry, another caller, discussed his ongoing efforts to manage and reduce his internal stress and emotional triggers through consistent application of the worksheets and other tools provided by Dr. Ryce. He emphasized the importance of daily practice and accountability in achieving progress in emotional and psychological well-being.

Dr. Tim Hayes joined the call to provide further insights into the practical use of the MindShifter tool. He explained that a MindShifter is a positive statement designed to stir up unconscious material, bringing it to the conscious level for processing. By repeatedly writing the positive statement and allowing free association, individuals can uncover and address hidden beliefs and emotions that might be sabotaging their goals.

During the session, a listener asked about the distinction between reality and actuality. Dr. Tim explained that actuality refers to what is happening outside the mind, while reality is the mind’s constructed perception based on past experiences and judgments. He emphasized that true perception of actuality only occurs when one is in a state of total love.

Another question from the chat room led to a discussion on setting boundaries versus establishing standards. David and Dr. Tim both highlighted that boundaries often stem from a need to protect oneself from perceived threats, whereas establishing standards involves setting clear expectations and educating others about acceptable behaviors.

The show wrapped up with David encouraging listeners to continue their forgiveness work and to visit the website for more resources, including downloading Michael Ryce’s book and accessing worksheets to aid in their personal growth and healing journey.

michael & jeanie have returned rested. topic: Change the Meaning of Words.

On March 4, 2011, MindShifters Radio welcomed Dr. Michael Ryce and Jeanie back after their brief absence. David Hayes, who had filled in during their time away, expressed gratitude for the contributions of Terry and Carol. Dr. Ryce began the show by inviting listeners to join their upcoming series of workshops in Fort Lauderdale, emphasizing the transformative power of the forgiveness process.

Dr. Ryce shared his recent travel experiences from St. Martin and San Juan, appreciating the opportunity to unwind and return refreshed. He announced the upcoming events at Unity of Pompano, which would include a range of free workshops on relationships, communication, and more, culminating in a two-day intensive workshop over the weekend.

Terry contributed to the discussion by sharing his appreciation for the support system provided by the radio show and how it helps him stay connected to the work, even when away from Heartland. Dr. Ryce highlighted the importance of restoring the original meanings of words like forgiveness and love, which have been altered over time, leading to a loss of cultural heritage and understanding.

The conversation then shifted to practical advice. A listener named Patrick asked about detoxifying from a high intake of aspirin due to a severe tooth infection. Dr. Ryce recommended a good probiotic, whole vegetarian foods, and the master cleanse, along with addressing the underlying emotional issues through forgiveness work.

Dr. Ryce and David discussed the difference between intentions and goals, emphasizing that actions driven by clear goals are necessary to bring about real change. They also explored the concept of regulatory speech and how the words we use can either uplift or harm our well-being. David read an excerpt about the power of language, reinforcing the idea that our words carry vibrational energy that impacts our lives.

The show touched on the significance of honoring the essence of human beings, using the example of the Indian greeting “namaste” to illustrate recognizing the divine within each person. Dr. Ryce shared his exercise of seeing the beauty in every person during his cruise, which helped him connect with their true essence.

Dr. Tim Hayes joined briefly towards the end to express his admiration for the work being done by the MindShifters team. Dr. Ryce concluded the show by sharing a powerful experience at a Holocaust Museum workshop, where the concept of forgiveness resonated deeply with the attendees.

The show ended with an invitation for listeners to join the next session and continue their journey of personal growth and healing through the principles of forgiveness and true communication.

Dr. Ryce, joined by David and Jeanie, discussed how aligning with one’s true purpose can lead to personal empowerment and fulfillment. They emphasized that true power comes from being in harmony with one’s purpose, rather than trying to exert control over others.

David shared his insights on how being in alignment with one’s true essence brings natural joy and happiness. Terry, another guest, talked about his own process of healing and aligning with his purpose, highlighting the importance of recognizing and releasing layers of emotional and physical blockages.

This exercise helps individuals align their actions and goals with their true purpose, leading to greater fulfillment and personal power.

Dr. Ryce and Jeanie shared their own purpose statements, demonstrating how aligning with one’s purpose can guide decisions and behaviors. They encouraged listeners to continuously refine their purpose statements and align their lives with their true essence.

Dr. Ryce, along with Jeanie and David, explored the primary and secondary purposes of individuals and how aligning with these purposes can lead to a fulfilling and powerful life.

Dr. Ryce emphasized that the primary purpose of every human being is to develop a viable, conscious, spiritual body. This involves cultivating the five spiritual faculties: will, reason, intuition, imagination, and true perception. He explained that true perception involves directly experiencing the present moment without the interference of past memories or projections.

Listeners were encouraged to engage in the forgiveness process as a tool to remove internal blocks and align with their true essence of love. Purpose Personal Power & Commitment Part 3

On March 9, 2011, MindShifters Radio with Dr. Michael Ryce continued exploring the theme of purpose, personal power, and commitment. Dr. Ryce, along with co-host Jeanie, discussed the importance of aligning one’s actions, thoughts, and behaviors with their true purpose to experience personal power and live a fulfilling life.

The primary purpose discussed was the development of a viable, conscious spiritual body, which is synonymous with living in the active presence of love. This primary purpose serves as the foundation, while the secondary purpose involves aligning personal talents, interests, and visions with this primary goal to create a clear and actionable life direction. Dr. Ryce emphasized that perception is the servant of purpose. The mind organizes data based on one’s purpose, which means different people perceive the same situation differently according to their underlying intentions and beliefs.

To achieve alignment, Dr. Ryce highlighted the importance of tools like the forgiveness process, which helps collapse defiled perceptions and bring the mind into alignment with love. He recommended using the Reality Management Worksheet, available on the website www.whyagain.com, to work on forgiveness and clear out non-loving perceptions. The discussion included aligning talents, things enjoyed, vision of a perfect world, intentions, goals, beliefs, decisions, thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors with the primary purpose of love.

The show featured personal stories and experiences, including that of Jane, a unity minister from Anderson, Indiana. Jane shared her transformative experience after doing 600 forgiveness worksheets, illustrating the power of committed inner work and its positive impact on family relationships. David also shared insights about the necessity of doing things one might not want to do to achieve the things they love, emphasizing the role of daily forgiveness worksheets in discovering one’s true purpose.

Dr. Ryce referenced the video “The Ghost in Your Genes,” highlighting how modern science is catching up with ancient Aramaic teachings about the generational transmission of trauma and the role of love in healing these patterns. The show’s aim is to provide continuous support and encourage listeners to start local support groups to practice the tools and techniques discussed.

Listeners like Patrick and Reverend Jane actively engaged in the conversation, sharing their journeys and the impact of the work on their lives. David’s return call provided additional support and insights into the importance of daily practice and commitment. Dr. Ryce concluded by inviting listeners to join upcoming workshops and intensives in South Florida, encouraging everyone to make this year the best year yet of their eternal life by aligning with their true purpose and experiencing the active presence of love.

David Hayes co-hosting with Carol Guy – topic: addictions, including to drama

Welcome to MindShifters Radio on March 15, 2011, hosted by Carol Guy and David Hayes. Dr. Michael Ryce and Jeanie were unavailable due to prior commitments. Carol and David opened the show by welcoming listeners and encouraging participation via phone or chat room. They emphasized the purpose of the MindShifters group, which is to help individuals shift their perceptions and realities through supportive discussions and exercises.

David discussed the foundational concepts from Michael Ryce’s book, focusing on the importance of using tools for personal growth and healing. He highlighted that having tools but not using them is equivalent to not having tools at all. Listeners were invited to download various tools from the website www.whyagain.com and implement them in their daily lives.

The key thought for the day was from Michael’s book, emphasizing that “violence is an attempt to control.” The more insecure or out of control people feel, the more violent their thoughts, words, and actions become. This principle was explored in the context of how our upbringing and societal conditioning affect our behaviors and emotional responses.

Carol and David discussed the impact of generational trauma and how unresolved issues are passed down. They also touched on the importance of forgiveness as a tool to release these disintegrative energies. They reiterated that true forgiveness involves letting go of the energy surrounding painful events, rather than merely excusing or justifying them.

A caller named Ann from the Ozark Mountains shared her struggles with her husband’s anger issues following a traumatic brain injury. David and Carol provided compassionate advice, emphasizing the importance of using forgiveness worksheets and other tools available on the website. They also recommended that Ann consider participating in an intensive workshop at Heartland for additional support.

Another caller, Dr. Tim Hayes, shared a powerful testimonial about the effectiveness of the Commitment tool in transforming relationships. He emphasized the value of the MindShifters group in providing support for personal healing and growth.

The show concluded with a reminder for listeners to download and read the “My Commitment to Myself” tool from the website and to practice the key thought about violence and control. The hosts thanked everyone for their participation and encouraged them to join the next session of MindShifters Radio.

Today’s key thought revolves around giving yourself the opportunity to think new thoughts and test out new behaviors that emerge from these thoughts. This idea is crucial for shifting one’s mind and creating different results in life. David discussed how our actions stem from mind energy, beginning with thoughts that eventually lead to words and actions. This process can be transformative, enabling us to change our perceptions and realities.

The website www.whyagain.com offers resources, including tools like the Reality Management Worksheet and the Commitment to Myself, which can aid in this transformative process.

David highlights the purpose of MindShifters Radio, which aims to support listeners in shifting their minds and changing their perspectives. This involves offering tools and support for personal growth and transformation, largely based on the work of Dr. Michael Rice and his book “Why Is This Happening to Me Again.”

Worksheets and Goal Management:

Jeanie shares her experience of doing worksheets on inanimate objects, such as her car, which revealed underlying feelings of frustration and overwhelm. David explains the importance of managing goals and how the Mind Goal Management tool can help in aligning one’s life with their desired outcomes.

Caller: Patrick from California:

Patrick O’Donnell calls in to share his experience with doing worksheets on inanimate objects. He describes how a technical issue with his modem triggered frustration and blame. By doing a worksheet, he realized he could shift his focus and accomplish other non-computer-related tasks. This exercise highlighted the importance of canceling goals and finding productive ways to manage stress.

Heartland Intensive Experience:

Patrick also shares his transformative experience at Heartland. He discusses the synergy of working with others in a supportive environment and how it helped him align with his core values and primary purpose. Dr. Tim Hayes on Resistance and Lessons:

Dr. Tim Hayes joins the conversation to discuss how resistance to events carries lessons for personal growth. He explains that the more we resist a situation, the greater the lesson it holds. By relaxing into these situations and making ourselves subordinate to them, we can learn valuable lessons and change our behaviors.

Ripple Effect of Positive Actions:

David shares a story about how sending positive messages can have a ripple effect. He recounts how a simple act of sending “143” (I love you) messages to his cousin led to a reconciliation between his cousin and niece. This story highlights the power of positive actions and their impact on others.

David and Jeannie express gratitude to all listeners and participants, inviting everyone to join the next show. They also highlight the importance of using available tools and support to continue personal development and transformation.

David Hayes hosting with Ken Houdonjorgenson (technical difficulty with chat room) – discusses MindShifters and Support Groups.

Welcome to MindShifters Radio with Dr. Michael Ryce, the Forgiveness Doctor. David Hayes is sitting in for Dr. Ryce today. He’s currently away conducting workshops. We had planned for Ari Butnik, the chef for Heartland, to join us, but due to technical issues, we need to make some adjustments.

Introduction to MindShifters Program:

MindShifters Radio aims to support listeners in shifting their perspectives and changing their lives using tools developed by Dr. Michael Ryce. The focus today will be on commitments and the importance of doing at least one Reality Management Worksheet, also known as the forgiveness worksheet.

Understanding Forgiveness from the Aramaic Perspective:

Forgiveness, in the Aramaic language used by Yeshua (Jesus) over 2,000 years ago, means to cancel, let go, or untie. Dr. Ryce’s tools are designed to help remove realities held in the mind that create anything other than love. The premise is that we are all created in the image of love, our true essence.

The Concept of Reality and Actuality:

One of the biggest challenges people face is understanding the difference between reality and actuality. Reality is the perceptual output of the mind, while actuality is what is happening outside of us. Forgiveness helps change our internal reality, aligning it more closely with love.

Poem: Each Moment

Michael has a poem that captures this essence beautifully:

“Each moment of love, each moment of giving, each moment of joy is a moment of living. Each moment of anger, each moment of lying, each moment of vengeance is a moment of dying. All our moments add together like the digits in a sum. The answer tells us plainly whether life or death shall come.”

The Role of the Mind and Brain:

Ken asked a great question about the difference between the mind and brain. The brain is the physical organ, while the mind is the system of thoughts and perceptions that operate through the brain. Just as the digestive system includes various organs, the mind includes various processes of thinking and perception.

MindShifters Groups and Tools:

MindShifters groups exist throughout the country to support people in using these tools daily. You can find a support group near you by visiting our website. The goal is to help individuals shift their internal realities and live more aligned with their true essence of love.

How to Use a MindShifter:

To use one, take a clean sheet of paper and draw a vertical line down the middle. On the left side, write the MindShifter statement, such as “Approving of my mother’s/father’s faults heals me.” On the right side, write your immediate reactions and thoughts. Repeat this process until you uncover deeper insights and emotions.

Dr. Tim called in to offer his support and shared insights. He emphasized that choosing love in each moment can transform our lives. By holding the space of love and doing our inner work, we can shift from unconscious reactions to conscious, loving actions.

Upcoming Events and Workshops

If you’re interested in attending a Heartland intensive, visit our website for more information on the schedule and registration. The intensives cover various topics such as co-dependence to interdependence, healing through relationships, and more.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today. We encourage you to use the tools available on our website and continue your journey of self-discovery and transformation. Remember, each moment of love is a moment of living.

For more information, visit www.whyagain.com. We look forward to supporting you on your path to healing and living a life filled with love.
