pre-recorded Communication Part 1 November 1, 2022 — Ryce focuses on the difference between projection communication and responsibility communication. He uses the image of a simple drawing that different people might identify as an igloo, Volkswagen, or other object to demonstrate that meaning comes from the content already stored in the observer’s mind. Conflict arises when someone describes an internal reality as though it is objectively true about another person. Responsibility communication instead acknowledges, “This is what is happening in my mind,” and seeks to transfer that meaning accurately without blame. Ryce explains that communication should have the goal of understanding rather than being right, winning, or overpowering. He emphasizes keeping Love and goodwill present, inviting the other person to participate, and recognizing words as tools that direct the evidential mind. A detailed example shows how a woman responded to being expelled from a professional seminar without attacking the organizer; by owning her resentment and asking for support in resolving it, the encounter ultimately opened unexpected professional opportunities. pre-recorded Communication Part 2 November 2, 2022 — The responsibility communication teaching continues with the distinction between observing another person’s behavior and claiming to know their internal state. Instead of “You were angry,” Ryce recommends language such as, “I felt like you were angry, and fear came up in me.” This keeps the speaker responsible for the reality inside their own mind. In ordinary conflict, each person frequently tries to convince the other that they caused the problem and therefore must fix it. Ryce explains that this activates childhood patterns of helplessness, guilt, and withdrawal and often destroys the very relationship the speaker wants to preserve. Projection language such as “you made me angry” hides the internal source of anger and makes healing impossible, while responsibility language—“when that happened, anger came up in me and I want to heal it”—creates an invitation to stay connected. The show presents responsible communication as a foundational relationship skill that changes both the internal perceptual system and the quality of interpersonal interaction. November 3, 2022 — Ryce and Jeanie return from visiting their new granddaughter Kaylee Jo and discuss observations they interpreted through their bodywork and healing framework. They describe a minor fall followed by noticeable changes in the baby’s vocalizing and relaxation, and Ryce relates this to previous experiences in which apparent accidents seemed to coincide with physical changes. The conversation broadens into healing crises, COVID experiences, and the difference between suppressing symptoms and allowing the body to move through what Ryce describes as energetic release. The show then returns to goals and stress: every active goal consumes resources, and too many unresolved goals can contribute to overwhelm, depression, or breakdown. Ryce compares this to opening too many programs on a computer. The practical response is to identify goals that resonate hostility, fear, or pressure, cancel them through Forgiveness, and allow the underlying material to surface and be processed. Medical and physiological interpretations are presented as the participants’ experience and teaching framework. November 4, 2022 — Ryce addresses why people who have tried many forms of personal work may conclude that “nothing works.” His distinction is that the methods they tried did not produce the desired result; that does not prove healing itself is impossible. He returns to the difference between reality and actuality: reality is the mind’s perceptual construct, while actuality exists independently of that construct. If someone mistakes their reality for actuality, changing the underlying mental structure becomes extremely difficult because the construct is treated as unquestionable fact. Ryce describes first-century Aramaic Forgiveness as a practical method for identifying the goal driving a painful reality, canceling that goal, and accessing the unconscious material beneath it. He emphasizes that the tools are designed to be learnable and reproducible rather than dependent upon a particular therapist or teacher, and directs listeners toward the Reality Management worksheets and other resources for applying the process themselves. November 7, 2022 — The show begins with a listener reporting that after repeatedly listening to an earlier program and doing five to ten Forgiveness Worksheets daily, substantial emotional material is surfacing. He feels stronger but also overwhelmed and discouraged when anger still breaks through. Ryce compares this with the Book of Job, describing Job as someone in an intense healing crisis who asks for only enough relief to “swallow my saliva.” Increased vitality, he says, can expose the next layer of personal or generational material, which is why healing may temporarily feel worse rather than better. Ryce uses historical warfare, including Napoleon’s disastrous invasion of Russia, to illustrate the immense fear, suffering, and trauma that may enter family lines. He encourages willingness—the “Cosmic Grease”—rather than escape through hostility, alcohol, food, or other anesthetics. The central message is that overwhelm itself can become material for Forgiveness and that faster recovery from disturbance is evidence of developing capacity, not failure. November 8, 2022 — Susan explores her distress over her grandsons’ struggles, particularly addiction and rehabilitation, and recognizes a childhood pattern behind her fear that “they might not be okay.” She remembers witnessing her mother violently punish her younger sister and forming the conclusion that her sister might never recover. Similar fear now becomes activated around the grandsons. Ryce encourages Susan to distinguish loving support from taking responsibility for another person’s path and to notice where family situations resonate old fear within her own physiology. The conversation explores enabling, codependence, innocence, and holding space without collapsing into another person’s crisis. Ryce emphasizes that the challenge is not to guarantee someone else’s outcome but to Forgive the internal fear and remain functioning as Love. Susan begins to recognize that her grandchildren may be exposing generational material that is hers to address without making their lives her responsibility. YouTube https://youtu.be/terdM8C6UkY |

November 9, 2022 — Ryce explores two ways of knowing: perception generated by the brain and what he describes as direct experience through higher faculties of Being. He offers that the eyes receive frequencies but the brain constructs the visual world from stored information; therefore what we “see” is already an interpretation. Words can describe someone’s experience, but they cannot substitute for direct experience itself. Ryce compares the development of inner awareness to an athlete building skill through repeated practice: doing one’s inner work gradually develops the capacity to receive and comprehend information that previously could not be recognized. The conversation returns to Forgiveness as a means of freeing the mind from stored perceptual material so direct experience can become more available. Ryce stresses that teachings, words, and concepts are pointers; the objective is not merely intellectual understanding but functioning as a Human Being from Love and the higher faculties rather than allowing Carbon-Based Memory to generate the whole experienced world. November 10, 2022 — Four-year-old Arya provides the opening example of projection. Unable to settle back to sleep, she says her stuffed dog keeps moving and preventing her from sleeping while she herself is the one moving. Ryce gently explains that when the mind is doing something internally but attributes it to something outside, that is projection. He and Jeanie reflect on how Arya has absorbed ideas from years of hearing the radio show, including her earlier observation that “we don’t see with our eyes, we see with our brain.” The show expands into teaching, resonance, and the recognition that different people can serve as uniquely effective messengers because their particular “frequency” connects with someone another teacher may not reach. Discussion also touches on death and grief, with Ryce distinguishing the external event of death from unresolved painful material activated in survivors. The larger theme is that both children and adults can learn to recognize projection and become responsible for what is moving within themselves. November 11, 2022 — The discussion continues with Arya’s imaginary character, Sean. Ryce and Jeanie observe that when Arya does not consciously acknowledge being tired or disappointed, Sean expresses those experiences for her. During play she gives Sean encouragement after he misses a basketball shot, tells him to persevere, and comforts him while simultaneously recognizing that he is a “figment” who does not literally exist. Ryce uses this as a vivid example of projection: people create internal realities, project them outward, and then respond to those projections as though they originated externally. The show broadens into veterans and trauma in recognition of Veterans Day. Ryce recounts stories of soldiers carrying decades of anguish over killing in war and emphasizes the need for tools that allow such trauma to be acknowledged and Forgiven rather than buried. Susan also discusses illness, COVID, family fears, and Power Person work, recognizing that people she feared did not create fear in her but activated fear already present and available for healing. November 14, 2022 — Ryce introduces “Healing from the Ground Up,” connecting personal health with living soil, nutrition, food access, nervous-system balance, and emotional healing. He contrasts biologically active soil with depleted dirt and describes his and Jeanie’s composting, cover crops, leaves, wood chips, and other soil-building practices. He offers that genuine holistic health requires attention to the entire system that produces human nourishment, not merely treatment after symptoms appear. The discussion also addresses food deserts, poverty, conventional medical limitations, and the importance of becoming one’s own informed primary healthcare advocate while seeking appropriate professional support. The second half turns toward family patterns and the Power Person Dynamic. A caller describing abusive intergenerational behaviors is encouraged to recognize that stress can automatically reactivate behaviors learned in childhood. Forgiveness is described as progressively weakening these patterns by canceling the goal driving the painful perception and entering the unconscious material beneath it. Medical, nutritional, and physiological claims throughout the show reflect Ryce’s naturopathic and teaching framework. November 15, 2022 — Ryce explores what can become possible when a person repeatedly collapses the perceptual constructs generated by Carbon-Based Memory and opens to experience beyond ordinary mental interpretation. He recounts a powerful experience from decades earlier while teaching A Course in Miracles, when an insight about healing expanded into what he describes as a mystical experience of Being. He distinguishes treatment of existing cellular conditions from what he interprets as deeper changes involving inherited energetic and genetic patterns, while presenting these ideas as his experiential framework rather than established medical fact. During the experience, questions seemed to bring immediate visual and nonverbal answers, and ordinary concerns lost their power for an extended period. Ryce connects this with Paul’s description of encountering things difficult to put into words and emphasizes that Forgiveness can repeatedly collapse the past-based mind and reopen connection with a larger state of awareness. November 16, 2022 — The conversation weaves together soil restoration, holistic health, mystical experience, and the meaning of Love. A caller asks about Ryce and Jeanie’s soil-building studies, which they connect with the larger “Healing from the Ground Up” approach: human health cannot be separated from the condition of the soil, food, environment, relationships, and internal energetic patterns. The discussion also returns to the previous day’s exploration of mystical awareness and the difference between intellectual knowledge and direct experience. Ryce emphasizes that Love is not fundamentally something obtained from another person but the essence of Human Being, and that cultural conditioning can obscure awareness of that state. The show repeatedly returns to appreciation, Thanksgiving, and the invitation to cultivate Being rather than merely accumulating concepts or possessions. YouTube https://youtu.be/OZ1cewAcmbQ |

November 17, 2022 — Ryce discusses chronic pain, unconscious material, and Forgiveness through the story of a longtime student experiencing severe shoulder pain. He recommends the documentary All the Rage, about physician John Sarno’s theory that some chronic pain can be associated with unconscious rage. While watching and breathing, the woman remembered a rape decades earlier in which her shoulder had been repeatedly forced against a surface. Rather than distracting herself, she stayed with the memory, breathed, canceled goals, and reported substantial relief afterward. Ryce stresses that she should not automatically cancel planned medical care but continue exploring what the experience may be revealing. The discussion expands into trauma, sexual violence, cultural conditioning, and the importance of letting relevant material surface naturally rather than searching compulsively through old memories. Medical and causal claims are presented as the participants’ experience and framework, not established conclusions. November 18, 2022 — The show returns to perception and the principle that the brain generates an individual reality rather than simply recording the outside world. Ryce explains that Forgiveness can progressively refine perception by removing hostility- and fear-based material from Carbon-Based Memory. The conversation then becomes highly personal as Susan explores generational family patterns, sexual shame, male anger, and possible links between childhood experiences and later relationship difficulties. Ryce repeatedly redirects attention away from proving historical explanations and toward breathing with whatever present disturbance is activated. The central principle is that anything attributed to an outer person or event can become an entry point for examining the internal construct and the goal that maintains it. November 21, 2022 — Ryce and Jeanie continue “Healing from the Ground Up” after beginning a course in soil restoration. They distinguish living soil from depleted dirt and offer that a genuinely holistic model of health must include the biological condition of the earth that produces food. Ryce connects soil degradation, chemical agriculture, nutrition, and human health as interdependent parts of one system. The discussion expands into environmental stewardship, food quality, microbiology, and the responsibility to strengthen the foundations of health rather than merely manage symptoms. Later conversation also includes COVID-related treatments and personal experiences, with Ryce offering views on ivermectin and conventional healthcare. November 22, 2022 — With Thanksgiving approaching, Jeanie and Ryce explore gratitude, purpose, and the immense network of human contribution behind ordinary conveniences. Ryce reflects that something as simple as turning on a faucet, light, television, or other device rests on countless discoveries, inventions, workers, languages, and generations of accumulated knowledge. He describes humanity as standing on “trillions of shoulders” and asks what contribution each person will add to that chain. This leads into the Purpose work, where Ryce says that when people move beyond cultural conditioning around money, status, and possessions, their deeper purpose consistently involves some form of service to humanity. Gratitude therefore becomes more than appreciation for what one has; it becomes recognition of relationship, participation, and responsibility within the larger human family. YouTube https://youtu.be/nyqOL8aK3Lg Additional Notes: MindShifter around Fear: “I trust that eternally present love renews my strength and intelligence, moment to moment; it carries me as on wings of eagles; and keeps my behavior aligned so life always holds future beauty and wonder for me as I heal all content based in fear and held by my mind.” (book of Isaiah: mount up as wings of eagle, run and not be weary and not faint.) November 23, 2022 — Ryce continues a developing series examining emotional states and the language used to describe them. Celinda shares that while trying to capture notes from a previous show, she noticed herself holding her Breath because of a need to “get it right,” revealing another layer available for Forgiveness. The conversation touches on the resonance of names, bodily sensation, Breath, and the importance of attending to children as teachers rather than treating them as interruptions. A later discussion focuses strongly on the word Love. Ryce maintains that Love is fundamentally a noun—the actuality of Human Being—rather than something we acquire from or perform toward another person. A caller offers a broader use of the verb “to love,” and the exchange highlights Ryce’s concern that regulatory speech shapes perception and behavior; therefore words should be examined by the kind of life their meanings produce. 1st hour prerecorded: Pierre Pradervand interview – The Gentle Art of Blessings https://gentleartofblessing.org/ November 24, 2022 — The Thanksgiving show centers on gratitude, appreciation, blessing, family, and the cultivation of what Ryce calls faculties of Being. Jeanie reads her evolving annual Thanksgiving reflection, expressing gratitude for God, Y’Shua, her parents, son, daughter-in-law, granddaughter Arya, Michael, family relationships, material support, and the ability to care for her father through Parkinson’s and dementia. She also reflects on the challenges of COVID and the changes of recent years. Ryce describes appreciation as something that can be consciously cultivated, like Love and compassion, allowing deeper qualities of Being to become active in places still needing healing. The later prerecorded material connects gratitude with the Beatitudes, trust, Rukha, intuition, and learning to respond to inner guidance rather than remaining controlled by fear or inherited conditioning. 1st hour prerecorded: Lesson 2 Review from February 4, 2022 (which kicked off Dr Tim separating the Way of Mastery lessons as separate recordings on https://mindshifters-academy.org/)
November 25, 2022 — A listener asks whether Forgiving another person means Forgiving a larger Self. Ryce first challenges the premise, distinguishing Forgiveness from pardoning. In his Aramaic framework, one does not Forgive another person or oneself in the sense of “letting someone off the hook.” Instead, when another person’s behavior activates fear, anger, grief, vengeance, pain, or other disturbance, Forgiveness is applied to the energetic response arising within oneself. Pardoning concerns what another person did; Forgiveness concerns removing the internal pattern. Ryce returns to the role of goals: an external event activates disturbance because it violates an active goal, and canceling that goal allows the perceptual construct to collapse and exposes deeper material. The show closes by noting that holiday gatherings can become powerful laboratories for this work because family interactions frequently activate precisely the patterns people otherwise avoid. YouTube https://youtu.be/Fy_TD6FKaqQ Additional Notes: Today we discuss Anger. It is not really an emotion but an anesthetic. November 28, 2022 — Ryce returns to the Reality Management Worksheet after receiving a message from someone who said they “could not work with the worksheet.” He suggests that resistance may be involved and explains the basic process: identify the situation, acknowledge oneself as Love, notice the feeling, recognize the projection, identify the goal driving the painful perception, cancel that goal, and observe what deeper unconscious material becomes available. He emphasizes that willingness is the “Cosmic Grease” that makes it possible to meet difficult material rather than suppress it. The show also returns to soil, nutrition, “bread and circuses,” and cultural practices that weaken vitality or distract people from inner experience. A caller struggling with relationship issues, family history, and autoimmune illness is encouraged to work progressively with Power Person patterns, goals involving her father and partner, and self-value rather than trying to “figure everything out” intellectually. November 29, 2022 — Susan brings in fear triggered by a video about alleged benevolent and malevolent extraterrestrials influencing humanity. Rather than debating whether the claims are true, Ryce redirects attention to the fear the story activates. He describes fear as a resonance with unresolved material already present in Carbon-Based Memory and encourages using such triggers as invitations to Forgiveness rather than searching outside oneself for reassurance. The conversation broadens into generational trauma, with Ryce describing inherited fear, violence, grief, and survival patterns as compressed “mind energy” carried through generations. Susan connects this with fear for her grandchildren and recognizes that much of what she calls concern for their future is actually perception shaped by goals she holds for them. Ryce encourages her to cancel those goals so she can relate to them from conscious active present Love rather than from projected fear. Ryce then contrasts sympathetic-dominant survival with the capacity to thrive, regenerate, and remain open to higher human faculties. He says Forgiveness involves allowing fear-based generational energies to surface, breathing, and bringing them into the presence of Love rather than repressing them. He applies this to Arya’s recent “stranger danger” lessons at school, offering that practical safety can be taught without making fear the governing state. The larger teaching is that children need the “facts of life” about who they are, how fear affects perception, how Breath supports regulation, and how Forgiveness can release hostility and fear. Ryce also returns to the idea of critical mass: a relatively small number of people doing this work consistently can, within his framework, change the larger field of human interaction. He closes by connecting Breath, hydration, cellular cleansing, and baptism symbolically and physiologically, while these energetic and biological interpretations remain part of his teaching framework rather than established scientific conclusions. November 30, 2022 — The final November show opens with Jeanie describing taking Arya to choose gifts for another four-year-old through an Angel Tree, using the experience to teach generosity and sharing from abundance. Ryce then reflects on the contradiction of widespread need within a materially abundant society and shifts into a discussion of the “nine-bit” perceptual mind versus the much larger amount of unconscious activity he believes remains below conscious awareness. He uses A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood as an example of how people resist looking at painful material and offers that fear-based sympathetic dominance narrows perception, while greater safety and regulation make higher human capacities more available. Ryce continues by contrasting fear-based conditioning with living from Love and again uses Arya’s “stranger danger” experience as an example of teaching safety without installing terror. He describes Forgiveness as decompressing dissociated, inherited energetic material in the presence of Love rather than continuing to suppress it. The show then answers a listener’s question about how parents create conditions for attack within the family. Ryce speaks strongly against verbal, physical, emotional, and sexual violence toward children, including corporal punishment, and challenges the use of “spare the rod” as justification for hitting. He distinguishes discipline from punishment, saying discipline is properly teaching a child while remaining connected to Love. The process is explicitly framed as no-fault: the goal is not to condemn parents but to recognize and stop generational patterns that have been normalized. The discussion closes with Forgiveness, blame, compassion, and the tendency to avoid inner work through busyness. Ryce says people who have harmed us may remain inappropriate or unsafe to engage with, yet Forgiveness can remove the pain and hatred attached to the internal image of them without excusing what they did. As those internal patterns are released, compassion can become possible without abandoning boundaries or accountability. He also notes that holiday gatherings often bring people into contact with family members they normally avoid, making the season a potent opportunity to observe projection, denial, and unresolved material.
