July 1, 2022: Ryce opens July by questioning the culturally loaded word “God” and suggesting that people return instead to the qualities the ancient teachings actually attribute to the Creator: Truth, Love, and Rukha. He offers that claiming devotion to God while functioning in rage, vengeance, blame, hostility, or fear creates a contradiction between belief and lived experience. If Human Life is made in the image and likeness of Love, then any internal state less than Love becomes information that something within the mind is available for healing. The discussion emphasizes responsibility rather than projection: when the mind builds a perceptual construct from hostility or fear, that construct cannot accurately reveal Truth. Ryce connects this with generational patterns, the Power Person Dynamic, Francois Fénelon’s description of disturbing unconscious material, and Carl Jung’s warning about the destructive “wolf within.” The central invitation is to become willing to face internal material instead of projecting it outward, allowing Truth and Love to transform what has been hidden.

July 4, 2022: On Independence Day, Ryce reframes liberty as becoming free from inherited mental and generational patterns rather than merely achieving political independence. He reflects critically on colonialism, violence, religious abuse, and historical systems of domination, then returns to Y’Shua’s “prime directive” as he understands it: maintaining Rakhma, the internal gateway through which intentions keyed to Love enter the human system. When hostility or fear takes over, old goals and generational programming begin constructing perception and behavior. Ryce cites Jung, Fénelon, Krishnamurti, and JFK while emphasizing that Truth requires recognizing false internal constructs as false. Rather than fighting outwardly while remaining unconscious of the same violence within, forgiveness means confronting and removing the internal energies producing hostility and fear. Independence, in this framework, becomes freedom from the unconscious goals and Power Person patterns of generations past.

July 5, 2022: Ryce joins the show while driving toward Nashville after learning that his longtime friend Joel Goldstein, known as the “singing dentist,” may have only hours to live. He describes his intention simply to be present with Joel as Love as Joel approaches death. The conversation expands into consciousness, perception, and the possibility that human beings possess capacities that remain undeveloped because the mind is dominated by past programming. Ryce discusses Cleve Backster’s experiments with plants and uses animals’ differing sensory systems to illustrate that every biological instrument receives only particular ranges of information. He asks what additional capacities might emerge in human beings if perception were freed from hostility, fear, and stored past material. Rukha is described as the guidance that “undoes the effects of our errors and teaches us Truth,” and repentance is reframed as turning the mind toward a different source rather than obsessing over error. The show emphasizes learning to listen beyond the recycling of stored mental content and becoming receptive to what might arise through a mind aligned with Love.

July 6, 2022: Ryce reports a dramatic change in Joel’s condition. When he arrived at the hospital, Joel was largely unresponsive and hospice had estimated that he had 12–24 hours to live. Ryce began interacting through music, singing an improvised line about Joel lying in the hospital bed; Joel began humming, then speaking and singing, and later spent much of the night talking about music and future projects. The show uses this experience as a doorway into goals, stress, and the Power Person Dynamic. Ryce emphasizes that situations themselves do not create stress; active goals do. When an unmet goal recruits hostility or fear, stored Power Person behavior can take over. Forgiveness means identifying and canceling the goal driving that internal state, then accessing the underlying material instead of blaming the external situation. Accountability can still be pursued, but from clarity and Love rather than from the unconscious demand that another person behave differently.

July 7, 2022: From the hospital, Ryce gives another update on Joel, who has improved enough that he no longer qualifies for inpatient hospice and is being moved toward rehabilitation. Music, visits from family and musicians, physical activity, and renewed interest in life have all become part of his experience. The broader discussion explores what it means to overcome what Ryce calls the “first” and “second” deaths. He interprets the first death as loss of conscious awareness of oneself as Love and considers whether deeper restoration of Human Life could change assumptions about physical decline and death. Y’Shua’s language about overcoming and becoming a “pillar in the temple” is interpreted as an invitation to remove the hostility, fear, and inherited energetic patterns that keep Human Life from functioning fully. The show also returns repeatedly to forgiveness as the removal of discordant energy rather than pardoning another person. Claims about physiology, longevity, and healing are Ryce’s historical teaching framework rather than established medical conclusions.

July 8, 2022: With Ryce traveling, Jeanie airs a recording from the June 9 Hear My Voice book club in which Ryce guides a participant through a forgiveness worksheet. The woman identifies a lifelong pattern of making herself invisible, especially in work and relationships, and traces it to childhood experiences of being repeatedly removed from class and hiding among coats to avoid further punishment. The worksheet separates fear from shame so each can be addressed independently. Ryce explains that the mind constructs an apparently external world from enormous amounts of stored information and that fear-based perception is built from corrupted internal data. He introduces Carbon-Based Memory, sustained incoherence, denial, breathing, and the Power Person Dynamic as parts of the process. The participant is guided toward identifying the specific goal and mind energy behind her fear, bringing Love present, and using Breath while the underlying material becomes conscious.

July 11, 2022: The show opens with the news that Joel Goldstein died after contracting COVID shortly after improving enough to leave hospice for rehabilitation. Ryce reflects appreciatively on their long friendship and on his final days with Joel before turning to his recent trip to Boston and health-related work there. The principal teaching then returns to goals and forgiveness. Ryce explains that an active goal recruits unconscious mind energy and uses it to build the painful perception surrounding a situation. Canceling that goal allows the perceptual construct to collapse, frequently exposing material that was previously hidden. A caller explores a long-standing connection between piano playing, approval, and the desire to be loved. Ryce suggests that the piano became linked with an early goal of earning approval through performance. Repeatedly canceling that goal can eventually release the need to perform for approval and allow the person simply to experience Being as Love.

July 12, 2022: Ryce gives an extended explanation of first-century Aramaic forgiveness and the inner source he calls Rukha d’Qudsha, described in the show as a feminine elemental force that “undoes the effects of our errors” and teaches Truth. He compares this inner guidance with concepts such as the Hindu inner guru, Tibetan personal deity, Quaker still small voice, and psychological higher self. The problem, he says, is that the ordinary mind largely replicates stored information from the past. Forgiveness provides a method for weakening and ultimately removing deeply reinforced fields of hostility, fear, Power Person programming, and Carbon-Based Memory so something new can become available. He emphasizes that no belief is required: the worksheet can simply be applied and its effects observed. As old energetic patterns lose their charge, the external situation frequently appears different because the internal perceptual construct has changed.

July 13, 2022: Ryce focuses on StillPoint Breathing and the relationship between Breath, denial, awareness, and unconscious material. He says people commonly hold the Breath when something painful begins to surface, creating a physiological form of shutting down information. StillPoint is presented as a way of restoring the energetic “fuel” that chronic subventilation has reduced. Ryce uses the analogy of ordinary electrical wiring versus a superconductor: resistance diminishes the available energy, while StillPoint can create a condition in which deeply stored material becomes accessible without the same level of struggle. The name StillPoint refers to a stage in which Breath stops spontaneously rather than being forcibly held. From that state, participants may encounter old trauma, generational material, or profoundly expansive experiences while remaining more capable of observing rather than becoming overwhelmed. The show also revisits a caller’s family concerns, emphasizing goals, boundaries, support, and the continuing use of forgiveness when another person’s behavior resonates fear or sadness.

July 14, 2022: Ryce returns to the foundational distinction between pardoning and forgiveness. Pardoning means letting another person off the hook for something they did; forgiveness, in his Aramaic framework, concerns what has been activated within oneself. If another person resonates rage, fear, grief, or pain, the work is to “forgive as to” that internal material rather than forgive the person as though they caused it. Ryce emphasizes responsibility as completely different from guilt, fault, or blame. Blame gives power away by locating the cause of internal experience outside oneself, while responsibility creates access to the material that can actually be changed. A caller from Maui describes how learning this understanding of forgiveness changed her life, prompting a deeper explanation of the crucial Aramaic wording “forgive as to my brother.” The show closes with Ryce remembering Joel Goldstein, his music, their decades-long friendship, and the extraordinary burst of singing and conversation Joel experienced shortly before his death.

July 15, 2022: Ryce returns to the way perception is constructed, emphasizing that what the mind generates tells us more about the contents of the mind than about actuality. Hostility, fear, sadness, and anger are presented as responses to thought rather than direct products of external events, and Ryce leads listeners through a brief exercise of locating these emotions in physiology, breathing into them, and bringing the presence of Love to each area. The conversation distinguishes emotions from feelings or sensations and then explores the difference between a driven life, controlled life, and inspired life. Ryce describes a driven life as one internally compelled by programming originally imposed from outside, a controlled life as one directly shaped by another person’s demands, and an inspired life as one arising from inner guidance and authentic interest. Using Aria as an example, he says his role as grandfather is not to build a container she must fit into, but to remain a space of Love in which her unique interests and expression can emerge.

July 18, 2022: The show opens with Ryce and Jeanie discussing their COVID infections and their personal interpretations of the illness as another healing opportunity. These health claims reflect their historical naturopathic framework rather than established medical conclusions. The deeper discussion turns toward the Power Person Dynamic as one of the most entrenched generational patterns people confront. Ryce describes how a child overwhelmed by an angry or blaming Power Person may absorb the pattern and later pass it forward under stress. The first experiences of angry eyes, accusation, or physical punishment may be so powerful that they become deeply unconscious and difficult to revisit. He describes the Power Person Dynamic as operating throughout families, institutions, businesses, religion, and government. Healing requires developing enough awareness to become the thinker apart from thought, feeler apart from feeling, and actor apart from action, then recognizing the Power Person pattern when it arises, breathing, canceling the active goal, and allowing the deeper material to process. The Power Person Worksheet is presented as a focused tool for developing that observer capacity and recognizing recurring patterns more quickly.

July 19, 2022: Ryce focuses on stress and an Aramaic interpretation of Y’Shua’s statement traditionally rendered “sufficient for the day are the evils thereof.” He explains two meanings associated with “evil”: missing the mark entirely and being unripe or incomplete. In this second sense, the teaching becomes practical stress management: carry only the incomplete projects or active goals appropriate for the present waking period rather than loading the mind with a lifetime of unfinished goals. Every unresolved goal creates a demand upon the system, and enough accumulated goals can dramatically increase stress. Ryce contrasts this with the cultural tendency to live mentally in tomorrow while attempting to manage everything at once. The discussion connects goal-generated stress with forgiveness: when a goal activates hostility or fear, canceling that goal can reduce stress and expose the deeper material underneath. “Sin” is again framed through the Aramaic archery image as being off the mark rather than moral condemnation, while Love is described as conscious, active Human Life.

July 20, 2022: Susan reports continued progress with Jacob, including conversations about sarcasm, anger, boundaries, adulthood, loneliness, and personal choice. Ryce characterizes sarcasm as socially acceptable or unconscious rage and encourages continuing to create enough safety that honest conversation can emerge. The teaching then moves into blockage of Truth. A caller asks about Ryce’s previous comment that John the Baptist needed to learn to “hold up the mirror or duck.” Ryce explains that when people living in blockage of Truth are confronted with information they do not want to see, stress rises and is frequently directed toward the messenger. John delivered Truth to people unwilling to receive it and literally lost his head. The practical lesson is to recognize when feedback produces the internal reaction “don’t make me look,” and use that stress as motivation for self-examination rather than attacking the source. Ryce says honoring Truth is foundational because Truth is one of the scriptural descriptions of the Creator; blame, denial, and projection reveal that the mind is blocking access to what is actually happening within.

July 21, 2022: Susan describes applying Al-Anon and codependence principles with Jacob by allowing him to experience his own choices rather than continually directing, financing, or rescuing him. She notices that even hoping he will trust her or “come out of his shell” can become another goal available for cancellation. Ryce then develops the relationship between goals and perception, explaining that the brain constructs meaning from what it already has stored and that goals strongly influence which material is recruited to build perception. An impossible or deeply conditioned goal can keep a person in suspense, trauma, or a hypnotic state organized around “the way I want it to be.” Forgiveness begins by bringing Love conscious, active, and present, then canceling the goal that is recruiting hostility or fear. When the perceptual construct collapses, the underlying pain becomes accessible in the presence of Love, where Ryce says the actual energetic transmutation of forgiveness occurs. The discussion later expands into family patterns and generational conditioning, with participants recognizing why relatives so easily resonate familiar inherited reactions in one another.

July 22, 2022: Much of the show centers on addiction, enabling, responsibility, and what Ryce calls the mistake of “tough love.” Susan describes a family crisis involving Luke’s heavy drinking, aggression, suicidal behavior, and the family’s decision to withdraw financial support while seeking treatment. Jacob views the withdrawal of support as cruel, while Susan sees continued financial rescue as helping maintain the destructive pattern. Ryce says “tough love” is an oxymoron: Love simply does what is constructive, which may include refusing to support behavior that is destroying someone. He links addiction with denial, blame, and hostility, describing hostility itself as a drug and an anesthetic frequently used just before alcohol, drugs, sex, or other addictive behavior. He references the film Thank You for Sharing as an illustration of hostility preceding relapse. The larger teaching is that people caught in addiction need tools for facing pain directly rather than anesthetizing it, and supporters must continually cancel their own goals while remaining present as Love.

July 25, 2022: Ryce begins with Kierkegaard’s statement that “the most painful state of being is remembering the future,” using it to illuminate first-century Aramaic forgiveness. A desired future—especially one no longer possible, such as a lost relationship or abandoned dream—can continually recruit unresolved pain from the past. The pain appears connected to the lost future, but Ryce offers that the goal is activating material already stored in the mind. Canceling the goal collapses the painful perceptual construct and allows direct contact with the underlying pain in the presence of Love. He expands the sequence into denial, dissociation, and projection: when people believe another person causes their pain, the mind constructs an internal picture making the other appear responsible. Forgiveness reverses that process by canceling the goal and allowing perception to “collapse into its own footprint,” exposing the hidden material beneath. The show also reframes Satana/Satan as resistance and misleading perception rather than an external supernatural figure, connecting held Breath with resistance to seeing and healing what is within.

July 26, 2022: Ryce opens with gardening, composting, soil, food quality, probiotics, and his experimentation with reducing onions and garlic after discussions about the microbiome. He contrasts living soil with commercially farmed dirt and criticizes agricultural practices involving glyphosate and chemical inputs, describing healthy soil as a living system that nourishes living food. These nutritional, microbiome, agricultural-health, and disease-related claims represent Ryce’s historical naturopathic perspective and should not be treated as established medical guidance. The conversation uses sophistry as a broader metaphor: just as ancient sophists were described as making false arguments appear true, modern systems can create an attractive appearance while concealing underlying dysfunction. This connects back to mind and perception—the mind can likewise create convincing pictures from distorted assumptions. The show reinforces the importance of questioning appearances, honoring Truth, cultivating living systems rather than artificial substitutes, and applying the same discernment to food, health, thought, and perception.

July 27, 2022: Ryce centers the show on reclaiming conscious creative power by recognizing how goals, blame, and denial place responsibility for one’s inner state onto other people. He describes the common pattern of assigning someone else the job of making us happy, secure, valued, or fulfilled, then blaming them when they fail to perform that job. In his framework, anger, sadness, fear, or hatred are moving because those energies are already present within the person, often reinforced through generations. Blame hides one’s creative power inside the brain’s image of the person being blamed, producing the illusion that the other person has power over one’s internal state. Forgiveness reverses this by bringing the cause back within, allowing the person to face, process, and remove what has been projected outward. Ryce connects this with Susan’s family situation and with the Power Person Dynamic, encouraging listeners to remain rooted in conscious, active, present Love during highly charged circumstances. Strength, he says, does not come simply because something difficult happens; it develops when one remains connected to Love while meeting the difficulty. The show also discusses faith and inner guidance through the story of Lot’s daughters, emphasizing the difference between fear-driven quick solutions and becoming still enough to receive guidance from a larger source.

July 28, 2022: Susan gives an extensive update on Jacob, who has been sent to a rehabilitation facility in California after escalating rage, accusations, repeated conflict, police involvement, and difficulty recognizing his need for help. She and Tim attempt to remain connected to Love while also establishing boundaries and creating physical safety. Susan recognizes that much of what Jacob is accusing them of appears to reflect his own concerns projected outward, and she begins to distinguish the Being she knows as Jacob from the rage and hostility presently dominating his behavior. She also notices how dramatically the energy in the house changes after he leaves and recognizes that her own bodily response reveals more work available within herself. Ryce and Jeanie reinforce that responsibility for one’s internal reactions does not require remaining in an abusive situation; creating safety and distance can coexist with forgiveness and Love. The conversation repeatedly returns to canceling the goal that Jacob become well according to Susan’s preferred outcome and instead trusting the Creator while offering Love without controlling his path. Ryce also clarifies the language of Love: rather than trying to “love” another person as an action, the workable instruction is to recognize one’s own Being and function as Love in the presence of the other. The show presents children and family members as powerful mirrors of unconscious ancestral and Power Person material, offering opportunities to expose and heal generational patterns.

July 29, 2022: Ryce closes July with a broad synthesis of forgiveness, perception, relationships, personal responsibility, and the energetic unity of Human Life. He references Albert Einstein’s description of separateness as an “optical delusion” and David Bohm’s concept of sustained incoherence, emphasizing that humans repeatedly create problems through patterns of thinking while refusing to examine those patterns as causal. Forgiveness is presented as a means of bringing hidden thought processes into conscious awareness and removing hostility and fear rather than continuing to project them onto others. Ryce develops the file folder effect to explain deteriorating relationships: unresolved pain becomes associated with the brain’s image of a partner, so that merely encountering the person eventually resonates an entire accumulated file of fear, grief, rage, guilt, or blame. This is why the “honeymoon” appears to end. Interdependent relationship reverses the process by using conflict as an opportunity for internal healing rather than accusation.

A listener’s question about repeatedly attracting abusive behavior leads Ryce back to the Power Person Dynamic. He explicitly distinguishes responsibility from blame: being abused does not make the recipient responsible for another person’s behavior, yet a repeated pattern may reveal an unconscious belief—perhaps formed in childhood—that one deserves mistreatment. Forgiveness addresses that internal pattern so the energetic resonance changes; Ryce says the relationship may then change or naturally fall away. Another caller describes nearly stepping on a copperhead and asks whether the statement that thinking creates problems means he somehow wanted the encounter. Ryce rejects such a simplistic interpretation and uses an earlier experience involving aggressive dogs to discuss fear, Love, resonance, and responding to unexpected events from a more conscious state. The month closes with the fundamental principle that goals driving painful perceptions can be canceled so the perceptual construct collapses, exposing earlier unresolved material to the presence of Love where healing becomes possible.
