May 2, 2022: Ryce develops the meaning of the Laws of Living, arguing that the Aramaic idea of Law describes how Life and Creation actually function rather than rules imposed by a superior authority. He contrasts this with later Greek interpretations and says that key words such as Law, Love, and forgiveness lost much of their operational meaning. Central to the discussion is Rakhma, presented as both a gateway through which Human Life/Love expresses and a filter that inhibits intentions organized around hostility and fear. Intentions become goals, goals influence perception and behavior, and forgiveness provides the practical means of removing the painful internal material that otherwise keeps directing behavior. Ryce emphasizes that forgiveness is removal rather than pardoning another person and points listeners toward live worksheet demonstrations and the HeartLand Aramaic Forgiveness app. Susan then discusses repeatedly encountering the same reactions during her worksheets, especially fear and anger around environmental issues such as disposable plastic. Ryce emphasizes that repeated triggering simply means more material remains available for forgiveness; removing hostility does not require abandoning constructive action and may actually make effective action more possible. The discussion expands into trauma work, addiction, Gabor Maté, and Susan’s concern for her grandson Jacob. Ryce agrees that addiction can function as an adaptation to unresolved trauma and stresses creating a safe field in which painful material can surface. He summarizes the forgiveness sequence as identifying and canceling the goal driving the painful perception, allowing the perception to collapse, and holding active present Love while the hidden pain surfaces and dissolves.

May 3, 2022: Jeanie begins with the idea of conscious creation, noting that people may consciously say they want health, abundance, or loving relationships while carrying inherited or acquired beliefs that contradict those goals. Arya becomes the immediate example: after a difficult night cutting teeth and wanting her mother to remain home, she moves through an unusually intense upset. Ryce and Jeanie help her identify what she wants, breathe, drink water, soften, and release the active goal, after which she settles and returns to playing. The experience becomes an illustration of teaching forgiveness and emotional responsibility to children rather than training them to blame circumstances for their internal states. Callers discuss the way these tools can be passed forward through generations, while Ryce stresses that noticing a painful thought and simply moving on is only part of the work; locating the goal and processing the sadness, fear, or grief underneath it completes the deeper healing. Arya’s later behavior—comforting Ryce, caring for her toy animals, and repeating that the purpose is to “be Love”—is presented as evidence of how quickly children can incorporate such tools. The show also touches on gardening, herbs, nutrition, plant-based eating, and Ryce’s health-oriented food philosophy. The conversation returns repeatedly to the distinction between pardoning and Aramaic forgiveness: pardoning concerns another person, while forgiveness removes the roots of trauma within oneself. The show closes with invitations to use the app, worksheets, StillPoint Breathing, and the growing community supporting this work.

May 4, 2022: This prerecorded On Creating Consciously, Part One workshop examines Ryce’s premise that human beings participate continuously in creating their experience and that responsibility begins with recognizing oneself as a creative being. He uses physics and the claim that matter is fundamentally energy to challenge ordinary assumptions about the body and physical reality. A spinning airplane propeller serves as a parable: the mind sees a solid silver disk although no such disk exists, illustrating his broader teaching that perception is a constructed appearance rather than direct access to actuality. From there he connects Y’Shua’s use of parable, Aramaic Law as an explanation of lawful processes, and the instruction to avoid judging by appearances. The workshop develops a cause-and-effect model in which thought, attention, goals, and sustained mental focus participate in shaping experience. Responsibility is carefully distinguished from blame: acknowledging one’s participation gives access to the unconscious material involved, while blaming others conceals it. Ryce applies the same framework to violence and war, arguing that violence used to eliminate violence carries the energetic seeds of further violence. Healing therefore requires remaining in Love while discovering and changing the internal material participating in one’s experience. The discussion moves into abundance in health, money, relationships, vitality, and joy, emphasizing that brief conscious wishes cannot overcome the predominant mental energy cultivated during the rest of one’s life. Focus itself is presented as creative, and forgiveness as the means of undoing energies that interfere with the result one consciously chooses.

May 5, 2022: On Creating Consciously, Part Two continues with the statement “let thine eye be single,” interpreted as maintaining a singular mental focus. Ryce presents thoughts as energetic events with physiological consequences and discusses neuropeptides, cell receptors, the Beatitudes, health, disease, and what he describes as the predominant resonant energy governing the system. These are presented in the workshop as part of his mind-body model rather than as independently established medical conclusions. Faith is described as where one consistently directs mind energy, and healing as a lawful shift from one predominant pattern toward another. The program then explores four broad abundance states—patterns such as “never enough,” “a day late and a dollar short,” “just enough,” and fuller abundance—and how unconscious beliefs can recreate familiar financial, relational, emotional, or health circumstances even after external conditions change. Ryce describes temporary downturns during deeper work as possible “healing crisis” effects rather than proof that the process has failed. A lengthy guided exercise invites participants to imagine poverty, mediocrity, and extreme abundance while observing messages absorbed from parents, siblings, authority figures, and childhood friends about deserving, succeeding, receiving, and surpassing others. Rukha d’Qudsha is introduced as the Breath-powered force invited into the material that surfaces, rather than a disembodied spirit. Participants imagine receiving enormous wealth and then identify ten things they would change, with Ryce challenging them to begin creating those changes at the level of cause now. The workshop closes with “tithing” reframed through T.I.M.E.—Time, Intelligence, Money, and Energy—as an investment of one’s resources in conscious development and connection with Source.

May 6, 2022: After returning from a family wedding in Salisbury, North Carolina, Ryce describes a dinner conversation with a lifelong churchgoer whose religious experience had left him with unanswered questions and considerable fear. This leads into an extended examination of A Course in Miracles Lesson 121, “Forgiveness Is the Key to Happiness,” and Ryce’s comparison of its language with the Aramaic forgiveness process. He emphasizes Y’Shua’s repeated “fear not” teaching and offers that fear is an internal condition projected onto people, events, politics, religion, or imagined futures. Forgiveness therefore concerns removing fear from the mind rather than forgiving an outside object for allegedly producing it. Ryce distinguishes happiness, which he associates with dopamine and goal achievement, from joy, which he describes as the natural experience of conscious connection with active present Love. Even a destructive goal may produce happiness when achieved, he says, while joy is independent of external goal fulfillment. Lesson 121’s description of the “unforgiving mind” becomes a framework for discussing fear, projection, separation, and the false self built from painful content. Forgiving “the self you think you made” is interpreted as removing fear- and hostility-based material so awareness can return to the Self that is Love. The lesson’s exercise of seeing light in someone one dislikes is discussed as another way of interrupting hostile perception. The show returns repeatedly to the principle that if the same painful dynamic has occurred with many different people, the internal mind is the common element and therefore the place where healing becomes possible.

May 9, 2022: The show opens into a discussion of healing experiences occurring during sleep and Breathwork. Roma describes a sensation of movement through her cells, organs, bones, and tissues, which Ryce relates to his understanding of energetic movement and compares with traditional descriptions of Kundalini. The larger discussion concerns increasing willingness, vitality, and access to unconscious material as healing work deepens. Ryce emphasizes that suffering itself can become a learned or inherited Power Person pattern: someone raised among people who modeled suffering may unconsciously reproduce it, yet the forgiveness tools provide a path for ending that inheritance. Difficult circumstances may continue, he says, while suffering becomes optional when one can remain connected to active present Love and remove the internal patterns activated by events. Julie then shares a vivid dream involving her deceased dog and the grief she experienced after his death. The dream becomes an opportunity to discuss deeper layers of grief, willingness, dreams as possible openings into unresolved material, and breathing rather than shutting down what surfaces. The callers’ experiences illustrate Ryce’s recurring theme that even after decades of inner work, another layer may become available; this is presented as development rather than failure. Questions arriving through the website lead back to overwhelm, spiritual practice, and the Khabouris material, with Ryce recommending that overwhelm itself become material for worksheets rather than a reason to disengage. The central message is that forgiveness means taking responsibility for and removing the energies associated with suffering instead of arranging the external world in hopes that suffering will disappear.

May 10, 2022: Ryce focuses on Truth, defining it as “what is” rather than whatever perceptual construct the mind happens to produce. Hostility and fear are presented as reliable indicators that perception has moved away from Truth and into old internal data requiring healing. Forgiveness collapses those painful constructions, Breath supports remaining present, and Love provides the condition in which deeper material can be transformed. Ryce applies this principle to religious and political movements, arguing that even an admirable goal becomes internally divided when pursued through deceit, rage, fear, or hostility: the means being used become part of the result being created. Relationships provide another major example. What culture calls “love,” he says, is often attraction through resonance between compatible unconscious patterns—his “matching bags of garbage.” When a partner violates a goal, the honeymoon can turn into blame, revealing the unresolved material the relationship is capable of bringing to the surface. Rather than seeing this as evidence that the partner caused the pain, Ryce presents it as an opportunity to identify the goal, collapse the perception, and heal what was resonated. Later the show explores the MindShifter tool as an alternative to forcing affirmations. Since the mind operates through resonance, a carefully chosen statement can stimulate the very objections, fears, or beliefs that keep a desired condition from feeling natural. A caller considers how having older siblings may have affected self-expression and her later work as a singer and performer. The show closes with MindShifters framed as catalysts for surfacing hidden material rather than statements people must force themselves to believe.

May 11, 2022: Ryce explores the ancient statement that the power of life and death is in our words, connecting words with thoughts, mind energy, physiology, and perception. He asks listeners to notice the internal stream of words that occurs even when no external communication is taking place and proposes that this internal dialogue is often stored material from the past re-presenting itself as though it were the Present. The familiar exercise “don’t think about the color of your car” demonstrates that the image appearing in consciousness had to come from stored information. Ryce then uses food as an extended analogy. Just as highly processed food may be stripped of the qualities of fresh nourishment, he says, recycled thoughts from the past can create a “fake reality” lacking the fresh information available in the Present. Forgiveness interrupts that recycling by collapsing the perceptual world built from stored thought and creating an opening—even initially only a fraction of a second—for actuality to enter awareness. A Course in Miracles’ description of the world as “false perception” is used to distinguish an external event from the different realities constructed by individual minds observing it. Ryce notes that thoughts remain while they are still valued or “cherished”; anger, for example, may be consciously disliked while unconsciously retained because it is believed to provide protection. Jeanie connects this with visual optical illusions in which identical colors appear different because of surrounding information: remove the surrounding distortion and one can perceive more accurately. The show encourages listeners to use Reality Management worksheets and the forgiveness app to remove inherited perceptual filters and experience the Present more directly.

May 12, 2022: The show is devoted largely to the mechanics and purpose of MindShifters. Ryce defines a MindShifter as a thought concerning an area of life around which negative thoughts are held and explains that its purpose is to surface, process, and release those hidden reactions. Drawing on sympathetic resonance between tuning forks, he says the mind responds similarly when a statement resonates stored content. Ten groups of thirteen MindShifters are described, covering themes including partnering, perception and memory, healing fear and hostility, abundance, Power Person issues, healing generations, Source esteem, death, and Eternal Life. Participants are instructed to write the MindShifter on one side of a page and record everything the mind produces on the other without censoring it. Ryce contrasts this with affirmations that may attempt to force the mind to accept something it does not actually believe. He also explains how blame produces denial and dissociation: when a person says someone else caused an internal state, the mind must hide the internal source and construct a perception showing the outside person as cause. A MindShifter functions as a catalyst for bringing such unconscious material back into awareness. The sample statement “It’s silly to rely on the past to form my perception” leads directly into the month’s larger theme of perception being built from stored information. Later, longtime friend Patrick discusses mental and physical alignment, martial arts, circulation, the AVACEN and BEMER devices, and changes he perceives in his ability to maintain a coherent line of thought. Ryce comments on the improvement he hears while connecting physical circulation, mental focus, and inner work within his broader healing framework.

May 13, 2022: Ryce uses A Course in Miracles Lesson 265, “Creation’s Gentleness Is All I See,” to explore denial, dissociation, projection, and the constructed nature of perception. The central line is the recognition that what appears frightening in the world may reflect errors held within the perceiver’s own mind. Ryce explains that perception tells us about the contents being resonated internally rather than providing an untouched picture of actuality. Hostility or fear accompanying a perception therefore signals, in his framework, that corrupted or unresolved data is participating in the construction and that a forgiveness worksheet is appropriate. A caller describes growing awareness of the Presence of God as something to receive and live within—“let God in”—rather than an external being petitioned to change circumstances. Her MindShifter, “perception is a cheap copy of the ability to think,” expands the conversation into living beyond memory and allowing fresh guidance rather than past programming to dominate consciousness. Ryce returns to Lesson 265 and describes joy as an indication of awareness of the Creator’s Presence, emphasizing that joy naturally appears as hostility and fear lose their hold. The conversation broadens into social and economic integrity, fairness, inflation, corporate behavior, and the temptation to point outward at what others are doing. A caller recognizes the need to “draw the line” through her own integrity rather than merely condemn others. Ryce connects this with the Aramaic Beatitudes and the instruction to enter into just and fair behavior, emphasizing that the first impact of one’s conduct occurs within oneself. The show closes with the idea that holding a clearer, more coherent state can invite others toward the same condition and with an encouragement to create “the best year yet of your eternal life.”

May 16, 2022: Ryce focuses on the relationship among language, perception, knowledge, and personal power. Perception is described as a construct generated by the brain from information resonated in stored memory, making precise language essential if one wants increasingly accurate perception. He reflects on his own earlier use of the word Love, saying he would now reserve Love for the essence or state of Human Life and use a word such as cherish for what one feels toward another person. Ryce distinguishes reality, the output of an individual mind, from actuality, what actually occurred. Using the example of witnesses describing the same automobile accident differently, he proposes a scale of perceptual accuracy: hostility and fear indicate highly distorted perception, while forgiveness removes interfering material and permits greater accuracy. Blame is also described as tying up personal power in mental images of others. Rakhma is presented as the gateway/filter through which Love becomes active in the human form and helps maintain higher-quality perception. Caller Ann extends the discussion from seeing to hearing and gossip; Ryce offers that the brain also constructs what one thinks one hears, making “Did you hear what I think I said?” a useful communication principle. Susan then reports on difficult family dynamics involving her grandsons, substance use, panic, and Power Person patterns. Ryce emphasizes goals as generators of stress, suggests working consciously with goals and Breath, and encourages introducing tools without forcing them. Susan reports that doing five or more worksheets daily has changed how quickly she notices emotional disturbance and has brought previously forgotten childhood material into awareness.

May 17, 2022: Ryce examines the difference between living consciously and allowing inherited mental, emotional, verbal, and behavioral patterns to run on autopilot. Hostility, fear, rage, guilt, grief, drama, and trauma may have become culturally normal, he says, yet they do not represent the natural state of Human Life. Love is again defined as a noun—the essence of the newborn and the state human beings are designed to live from. Forgiveness requires conscious participation because automatic programming requires no effort; the work is to interrupt inertia, remove what is based in hostility and fear, and cultivate an ongoing relationship with oneself as Love. Arya’s answer to “Why are we here?”—“to be Love”—becomes a simple illustration of that practice. The discussion turns to practical use of the forgiveness app, handwritten notebooks, MindShifters, and the danger of turning a worksheet into hours of mental busyness. Jeanie asks whether excessive elaboration can itself become avoidance, and Ryce calls busyness one of the culture’s common drugs. A prison program is used to illustrate resistance to completing five worksheets a day even when participants had abundant time. Ryce reviews the Power Person Dynamic, Codependence to Interdependence, Personal Code evaluations, and the larger system of tools designed to reveal unconscious patterns. The show also spends substantial time on fresh/raw food, vegetarianism, soil health, agriculture, and environmental concerns; these nutritional and environmental assertions are presented as Ryce’s views in the discussion. Susan then describes using worksheets to process anger toward a neighbor over a wildlife-friendly backyard, demonstrating the larger principle of taking constructive action for something one values while first clearing the hostility that would distort communication.

May 18, 2022: This special Beatitudes conversation with Mark grows out of a profound StillPoint experience Ryce had several days earlier. Mark describes the Beatitudes as practical tools that helped guide him through a severe mental-health crisis and eventually inspired his Beatitudes practice. Ryce begins by refining the first Beatitude, emphasizing that Rukha is broader than breath alone: Breath is one expression of what he describes as the eternal active forces of the Creator. The traditional “poor in spirit” is contrasted with an Aramaic reading centered on making one’s Home in those forces and thereby entering a “community of Love.” Ryce and Mark describe lived experiences in which thought receded and action or speech seemed to arise directly from deeper guidance, including Ryce’s account of teaching for an entire weekend after the birth of his daughter Christa Joy without consciously knowing what he would say next. The Beatitudes are presented as an instruction set for bringing latent Creator-given capacities “online,” rather than merely inspirational sayings. Carbon-Based Memory is described as capable of distorting incoming guidance through stored hostility, fear, grief, trauma, and other past material; the practice is therefore one of surrender, clearing, and increasing availability to fresh guidance. They discuss writing the Beatitudes out longhand to build the conceptual “brain cells” required to understand them, and Rakhma as the gateway/filter needed to keep perception aligned with Love. Mark also speaks candidly about past suicidal and destructive thoughts during his crisis and how goal cancellation helped interrupt repetitive mental cycles. Both men frame such material as something to bring into conscious healing rather than conceal, while sharing anecdotal experiences from workshops and family conversations.

May 19, 2022: Ryce and Mark continue the Beatitudes discussion by first returning to Rakhma, which Ryce compares to an antivirus program that helps keep perception from being corrupted by stored negative information. A story about a 92-year-old man choosing his attitude toward a new room before seeing it becomes an example of deliberately maintaining an inner condition rather than allowing appearances to dictate one’s state. Mark then completes the story begun the previous day about his young son expressing suicidal thoughts. By remaining present and asking questions rather than reacting in fear, Mark says the conversation created enough space for his son to reconsider; the boy later told him, “I decided to stay.” The program then moves into the second Beatitude. Ryce says he would now replace “love truth” with honor Truth, because Love names Being rather than an action. To honor Truth means allowing errors in personal and cultural thought to come into awareness so they can be corrected. Mark describes recovering access to emotions he had previously judged unacceptable, especially anger, by consciously permitting himself to feel, identify, breathe through, and examine them. Ryce connects this with the worksheet: when stress rises, one can move toward self-correction rather than attacking the apparent external cause. Goal cancellation, including releasing the need to be right, creates space for new information rather than another perception from the past. The conversation then advances to the Beatitude traditionally rendered “Blessed are the meek,” with humility described as perceiving and cooperating with the constructive desires of others; the promised result, “gain the earth,” is interpreted as bringing inner alignment into practical life. Mark links this with discovering a secondary purpose that became clearer as his internal work deepened.

May 20, 2022: The Beatitudes series continues with Beatitudes four through six. “Hunger and thirst for righteousness” is interpreted as developing the underlying mind structure for just and fair behavior between people, so that action arises from Being and Truth rather than inherited ideas about who deserves what. Ryce and Mark contrast behavior generated by Carbon-Based Memory with behavior that may look outwardly similar yet carries the living presence of conscious, active Love. Beatitude five, traditionally “Blessed are the merciful,” becomes a discussion of Rakhma. Ryce recounts asking native Aramaic speakers about the word and describes it as a precious but largely forgotten concept: a gateway/filter associated in his teaching with the frontal brain, intentions, perception, and the entry of Love into human function. The Mr. Magoo cartoon becomes a metaphor for living according to an inaccurate mental picture while assuming it is reality. Mark offers a simple lived example: receiving an inner prompting to buy a chocolate-chip cookie and then give it to a stranger, who later told him she deeply needed the gesture that day. They use the story to illustrate Love overflowing into service and then returning to the giver, forming an expanding “community of Love.” Beatitude six, “pure in heart,” is described as progressively purifying Carbon-Based Memory until it contains less distortion. Ryce lays out a progression from errant perception, to more accurate perception, to enlightened perception—a Present experience no longer merely copied from the past. Mark describes developing greater trust in spontaneous guidance as this purification occurred.

May 23, 2022: Ryce and Mark complete the extended Beatitudes exploration by emphasizing service as a necessary expression of mature Human Life. The Beatitude traditionally translated “Blessed are the peacemakers” is interpreted through the Aramaic term Abde as effectively working through service to produce serenity and understanding in accord with the Creator’s will. Service is therefore described as the natural outward expression of the inner work developed through the preceding Beatitudes. Mark speaks about what medicine had labeled his “psychotic break,” while Ryce offers his own interpretation that the experience represented an opening in the habitual ego structure rather than a break in the person’s true Being. This is explicitly Ryce’s interpretive framework, not a clinical conclusion. Their conversation includes anecdotes about near-death experiences, StillPoint work, and people whose lives reportedly changed dramatically after previously hidden trauma surfaced. The later Beatitudes are then approached as preparation for what happens when inner change begins affecting behavior in the world. “Persecution” is discussed partly as being moved out of familiar comfort zones and partly as encountering other people’s resistance to one’s changed behavior. Mark describes an old pattern in which overwhelm automatically sent him to the pantry for food; as he became conscious of the pattern, he learned to go instead to Breath and the feelings underneath it. Ryce places this within his “healing crisis” framework and discusses cravings for former anesthetics such as food, alcohol, or hostility as material that may reappear during deeper work. The final emphasis is on remaining in Being even when another person appears attacking, using that encounter to heal one’s own remaining attack patterns. Hostility itself is described as an anesthetic that keeps underlying pain from being consciously felt and healed.

May 24, 2022: Ryce returns to the foundational distinction between Aramaic forgiveness and the cultural idea of pardoning. Telling another person “I forgive you,” he offers, may change a relationship, yet it does not by itself remove the pain-producing material held in one’s own mind. Forgiveness is presented as the inward process of collapsing a painful perception, gaining access to what lies beneath it, and allowing what has been denied or dissociated to come forward in the presence of conscious Love. The discussion links blame with loss of access to internal material: saying “you made me angry” instructs the mind to hide the internal source and project it into an image of another person. The creation story becomes an example of how deeply the blame pattern is embedded in culture, while “sin” is again explained through the Aramaic archery metaphor of being off the mark rather than moral condemnation. Ryce uses the experience of holding a newborn to identify Love as the original condition of Human Life and Y’Shua’s purpose as restoring awareness and expression of that Life. The second half emphasizes language as a diagnostic window into hidden content. Statements such as “I wasn’t angry” may, in Ryce’s framework, reveal the very anger being denied. Jeanie adds the practical distinction between making an absolute statement about another person and recognizing, “this is my reality” or “my impression.” Ryce then restates the mechanics: identify the goal driving the painful perceptual construct, bring Love present, cancel that goal, allow the projection to collapse, and thereby gain access to deeper unconscious material. He presents the meeting of exposed pain with active Love as the central condition in which healing occurs.

May 25, 2022: A live Reality Management session with Magda becomes a detailed demonstration of doing a forgiveness worksheet when the apparent trigger is oneself. Magda begins with anger and self-condemnation after abandoning her own plans, and Ryce immediately distinguishes self-responsibility from self-blame. He introduces the Hydra metaphor: each thought, feeling, blame statement, or remembered pattern arising from one worksheet may reveal another “head” requiring its own worksheet. What initially appears to be one issue quickly opens separate lines of work around blaming herself, blaming Chuck, “selling myself out,” the hurt underneath that pattern, anger as an anesthetic over pain, and continuing self-condemnation. The exploration then connects those current patterns with her Power Person relationship with her father, including his anger and condemnation toward her and toward himself, and then further back into the generations. A key shift occurs when the goal becomes clearer: beneath the surface issue is a wish to remain connected to Love and self-approval even when she believes she has made an error. Ryce emphasizes that this is a beautiful goal and is canceled only because it is presently driving the painful perceptual construct. Canceling it collapses the constructed reality and opens direct access to denied and dissociated material. Step 5B invokes Rukha d’Qudsha, described in the show as a feminine elemental force supporting the undoing of denial and the deeper material beneath self-condemnation. By the end, Magda reports happiness and excitement and establishes a fresh conscious goal of continuous Love, self-acceptance, and self-approval even in the face of apparent error. The session demonstrates how an ordinary incident can lead through many interconnected worksheets into deep Power Person and generational material.

May 26, 2022: This prerecorded Empowered to Heal workshop asks what health is and what actually produces it. Ryce defines health within his teaching as the state of conscious, active, present Love in the human organism rather than simply the absence of symptoms. He presents a broad mind-energy model in which thought, attention, stored memory, physiology, and health are inseparable. Some medical claims made in the historical workshop—including claims about infectious organisms, disease causation, and spontaneous healing—reflect Ryce’s model and should be understood as his teaching rather than as established medical consensus. The workshop contrasts the Adam or Carbon-Based mind, which stores and repeats the past, with Napsha/created essence and the capacity for fresh choice. Simple demonstrations involving placing a hand on an ear or trying to locate one’s “gizzard” illustrate how quickly the mind searches its stored database and supplies old information as though it were the Present. Ryce develops an extended creation-story metaphor in which the survival-oriented Adam system automatically takes over once stress reaches a critical threshold; when that happens, people can repeat childhood or Power Person behaviors even when they consciously want something different. Healing therefore means removing stored survival material so that choice remains available. The workshop also uses the metaphor of a jungle inhabitant trying to describe an airplane without the concepts for aviation to explain Y’Shua’s statement about having “eyes to see and ears to hear”: a teaching beyond one’s existing conceptual structure must be reduced until the necessary “brain cells” are built. The closing portion links this model with quantum-physics language and an observer metaphor, presenting fear, anger, healing, and Love as different resonant states. These scientific interpretations are part of Ryce’s historical presentation.

May 27, 2022: Back live after traveling to St. Louis, Kansas City, and HeartLand for family visits and Michael J.’s Scottish-themed wedding, Ryce begins with a story he had encountered about Art Garfunkel and his college friend Sandy Greenberg, who became blind. In the story, Garfunkel supported Greenberg through his return to college and deliberately gave him opportunities to regain independence; Greenberg later financially helped Simon and Garfunkel make their first album. Ryce uses the account as a picture of friendship, empathy, service, and the kind of compassionate relationship he believes the world needs. He then contrasts the brain’s calculating capacity with what he calls the intelligence of the heart, arguing that calculation detached from compassion can produce technically effective yet destructive choices. The global Hear My Voice book club becomes another major topic. Yinka had shared a seemingly ordinary worksheet that unexpectedly opened a deep emotional process, reinforcing Ryce’s point that one does not need to remember or intellectually reconstruct the original trauma before beginning forgiveness work. A present issue can provide the resonant pathway back into deeper material. Magda later reflects on listening again to an old radio session in which one worksheet generated many Hydra worksheets and realizes that she can now hear layers she missed years earlier. Ryce encourages listeners to preserve and revisit old worksheets because expanded awareness can reveal entirely new material later. The discussion ends by stressing that small incidents can open profound healing work, that there may always be another layer without making the process futile, and that each layer released can increase present aliveness and joy. StillPoint Breathing is described as an experiential process Ryce prefers to teach with direct support because of the depth of material it may uncover.

Blessed Memorial Day

May 30, 2022: The Memorial Day show opens with Susan asking for support around her grandson Jacob, who is preparing to attend a theater program in New York while continuing to use marijuana and alcohol. Susan describes trying to keep communication open rather than attempting to force him into change, including suggesting what she believed might be a less damaging way of using marijuana. Her daughter challenges that approach and recommends Al-Anon. Ryce frames Susan’s resulting distress partly through her longstanding sensitivity to blame and recommends Responsibility Communication with her daughter: clearly owning her choices, expressing her commitment to Jacob’s healing, and seeking a relationship in which communication remains open. He emphasizes that a forgiveness worksheet that appears to be “on” another person is actually working with what that person’s behavior activates internally. Susan reports doing eight worksheets that morning and recognizes that she was able to remain present rather than collapsing into an old pattern of being blamed.

Ryce then turns to nutrition, gardening, soil vitality, and the relationship he sees between nourishment and deeper healing. His unusually large romaine plants become an illustration of his emphasis on building living soil, composting, growing fresh food, and participating directly in one’s nourishment. The show includes strong claims about commercial agriculture, chemical farming, soil depletion, food quality, energetic health, and the relationship of hostility and fear to physiology; these should be understood as Ryce’s historical teaching and perspective rather than independently verified scientific conclusions. The broader point is that healing involves the whole human system—mental, emotional, energetic, relational, and nutritional—and that Human Life is identified with the conscious presence and flow of Love.

A major teaching segment begins when Joan asks for the distinction between dissociation and disassociation as those terms are used in Ryce’s work. Dissociation is described as hiding internal content from conscious access, particularly through denial—thinking or speaking as though something outside oneself causes what is arising within. Ryce compares it to password-protecting a computer file and then losing the password: the information remains active but unavailable to conscious use. He cites Yinka’s recent worksheet in the Hear My Voice book club, which unexpectedly uncovered the deeply buried belief “I don’t deserve to be here,” a belief she had not consciously known was influencing her life. Disassociation, by contrast, is described in the show as a more extensive disconnection from one’s own experience or life, often arising in overwhelming trauma. Jeanie provides a personal example from abuse in her first marriage, describing how she would effectively “leave” her experience to reduce conscious contact with what was happening and later discovered that seemingly unrelated environmental cues could reactivate that response.

Ryce completes the model by connecting denial, dissociation, and projection. Content hidden through denial remains active and, within his framework, becomes part of the energy used to construct perceptions of other people. Thus material that a person cannot consciously recognize within themselves can appear attached to someone else in perception. Yinka asks how one actually stops dissociating even after recognizing the pattern, and Ryce answers that the answer is continued practice with all of the tools: becoming the thinker apart from the thought, the feeler apart from the feeling, the actor apart from the action, and increasingly the witness or observer of one’s own mind. The goal is progressively greater conscious access to what once operated automatically beneath awareness.

May 31, 2022: On the final show of May, Ryce begins with the importance of returning as closely as possible to the first-century meanings behind Y’Shua’s Aramaic words rather than attempting to understand the teaching solely through English words derived through Greek interpretation. He introduces material from a book he was then developing, The End of Suffering, in which Y’Shua speaks directly with a character. The familiar scriptural image of “stammering lips and another tongue” is reworked as “stammering ears”—the problem being that listeners lack the neural and conceptual architecture required to comprehend what was originally communicated. This connects directly with Y’Shua’s teaching about having “eyes to see and ears to hear”: according to Ryce, people perceive according to the brain cells and conceptual structures already available to them. Words therefore cannot directly transmit an experience; they can, however, provide instructions for creating the conditions in which the experience becomes possible.

From there Ryce restates the core mechanics of the Reality Management/Forgiveness process. When irritation, hostility, fear, guilt, grief, pain, or trauma appears, there is an object of attention and an active goal concerning that object. The goal is what drives the perceptual construct. In the show’s formulation of Shabag, forgiveness means to cancel; therefore, one cancels the goal driving the painful perception, rather than canceling the person, emotion, memory, or desired quality itself. With Love consciously active and present, canceling the goal collapses the perceptual construction and creates access to the deeper material beneath it. Ryce identifies this access to previously hidden material as the essential power of forgiveness.

Susan then asks whether these tools can apply to someone experiencing severe, recurrent depression and psychiatric hospitalization. She describes Episcopal priest Catherine Green McCreight and her book Darkness Is My Only Companion, including her history of profound depression, hospitalization, electroconvulsive treatment, medication, and exposure to multiple suicides among people around her while young. Ryce interprets that history through his framework of trauma and generational energetic burden and says he would be interested in seeing what occurred if someone with sufficient cognitive ability and willingness applied the forgiveness process with strong support. These remarks are Ryce’s historical therapeutic and spiritual perspective and should not be read as a clinical claim that forgiveness replaces psychiatric care, medication, or evidence-based treatment. He explicitly distinguishes between people able to understand and apply the tool and those whose cognitive functioning might prevent such use. Susan recognizes that she had unconsciously assumed a “ceiling” beyond which the work could not apply, while Ryce offers that willingness and the capacity to understand the process are more relevant than the diagnostic label.

Their discussion then challenges a theology in which suffering itself becomes holy or salvific. Ryce interprets Y’Shua’s instruction to “take up your cross” as an invitation to face and process whatever within oneself obstructs the expression of Love, including deeply inherited material, rather than as an instruction to imitate Y’Shua’s suffering. He repeatedly returns to Y’Shua’s stated purpose, as he understands it: “I come to bring you Life, Life more abundantly.” Susan also returns to Jacob’s marijuana and alcohol use and her uncertainty about whether supporting him while maintaining relationship constitutes enabling. Ryce distinguishes keeping a channel of communication open from tolerating clearly dangerous behavior and notes that driving under the influence would be an obvious boundary. The conversation includes discussion of drug effects and brain-imaging material; those specific scientific claims are presented in the show and are not independently established here.

The show closes with a COVID update concerning members of Ryce’s family and a listener recommendation of Joan Mathews Larson’s Seven Weeks to Sobriety as a resource on nutritional support in addiction recovery. Ryce uses that opening to return once more to nutrition and living soil, linking addiction, emotional anesthetics, nutritional depletion, and the importance of food grown in biologically active soil. He again describes rage as an internally produced anesthetic against underlying pain and folds the discussion back into the larger May theme: healing means becoming increasingly conscious of what is actually operating within, bringing Truth and Love to it, and applying the tools rather than remaining governed by inherited or automatic patterns.
